"Just to be annoying?" He asked with a snort, then registered her next words were a joke, but still mentally freaked out. +don't shut off brain-+ he mentally begged, reiterating in his mind that it was just a joke. As he was focused on that, he didn't give an answer. "It is a nice touch! And, joy of joys, I use it quite a bit. Great shelf to put my weapons on." He chuckled lightly, then rolled his eyes. "I'm not picking which article of clothing you mercilessly steal." Zephyr huffed, then smiled slightly. "Why, though? These are enough to get me in between washes. I wear all of them, then wash them and re-wear them!" He said cheerily, grabbing a black shirt and tossing it at her. "Fine, here. It's the oldest one I own, so I probably have to get a new one to replace it, anyway. Nevermind the fact it's a little small for me." He commented. The shirts inky black color was faded into more of a grey. He then adjusted a piece of clothing that had gotten messed up and closed the box again. "Plus I need, desperately need, a new leather jacket. It might be time to go into town again." He huffed quietly, not liking the prospect.

"Basically." Tempe mocked, tilting ehr head at him for his reaction- or lack thereof to the joke. He kind of obviously had a brain meltdown. "Just a joke, Zeph." She said calmly, watching him for a moment until he was back to normal. But geez, it couldn't seem that terrible to share a bed with her, could it? She toyed lightly with her braid as he continued. "Oh, definitely best used as a shelf." She mocked, snickering at him. "Yes you are." She answered simply, narrowing her eyes at him. "Because you shouldn't have to do laundry every three days." She snickered, snatching the shirt he tossed at her out of the air. It may have been too small for him, but it was definitely over large for her. "I will definitely take it." She grinned, standing and walking to the couch. "I'll go with you, if you want. I could use some new clothes too." She nodded, settling down. "So I'm guessing I'll be sleeping here tonight?" She asked lightly.

Zephyr glanced at her as she spoke, wincing slightly. "I know- sorry." He apologized, mentally reminding himself he needed to be more subtle when he had a Mind meltdown. "Definitally. And it's super easy to clean if you take the velvet off, because it's leather underneath." He grinned, then snorted. He didn't really mind doing laundry every three days, but now he'd have to get a couple more pairs of clothes, for good measure. "You wouldn't NOT come." He huffed with a small laugh, then nodded. "If you want to. You seem dead set on not letting me go alone anywhere." He answered wryly.

"Don't be sorry." Tempe said simply, waving a hand at the apology. She grinned slightly as he continued, settling down on the couch and stretching out. "Sounds convenient." She said sarcastically, closing her eyes for a moment. It was cooler than She was used to, but at least it smelled nice. She snickered slightly at his comment. "Fair point." She nodded, arching a brow at him. "Where else would I sleep?" She huffed, gesturing a hand around the relatively empty room.

Zephyr nodded vigorously. "It IS convenient." He agreed, ignoring her sarcasm completely. He walked over, sitting down beside her with a small snort. "Not just fair point. AMAZING point." He argued, then slowly looked around. "Is that a legitimate question?" He inquired, staring at her for a second with a grin. "On the floor, of course!" He teased, then re-looked. It was pretty empty- they had taken out all the other bunks, or most of them anyway, on his command. He hadn't wanted it to feel so empty- like, with spaces for people, but without people. "I'll sleep on the couch, and you can sleep on the bed, or you just do whatever you want and I'll sleep in my own bed, or you remember this isn't a murder mystery book and no one is going to sneak in my cabin at night to kill me." He snorted with a slight eye roll.

Tempe stifled a chuckle and rolled her eyes playfully at his enthusiasm. "Alright now, you can put the ego away." She teased, shifting to lean lightly against him as he sat down. "You're such an ass, Zeph." She huffed, ignoring his comments and flopping her head against his shoulder with a sigh. "Like it or not, someone might try to do just that." She argued, closing her eyes and settling down slightly. She was exhausted, even though it was barely dinner time.

Zephyr smirked lightly. "What ego?" He asked with complete innocence, smiling sweetly at her before dropping the act with a huff of his own, although he couldn't help but grin. "I'm the best ass ever, though." He retorted, glancing at her with a small, concerned frown. She seemed legitimately scared by the prospect. "Okay. Thank you for staying with me." He said quietly, putting an arm around her. She did look exhausted. "Dinner is in an hour- you can probably take a nap before then." He said gently, gazing at her with slight concern.

Tempe smiled softly at his comment, simply shaking her head a little. "Okay, you have me there. You are the best ass ever." She nodded, gently curling her arms around him, letting them wrap around his waist loosely. "It's my pleasure." She teased softly, stifling a yawn. Opening her eyes to look up at him, she shook her head slightly. "What would you do if I'm not here to entertain you?" She joked, trying to keep her eyes open for the moment.

Zephyr smirked. "Knew it. I'm right again." He chuckled, watching her for a couple seconds. She was obviously barely awake, but when he said anything she denied it. At her question, he laughed quietly. "The same thing I had been for the last 8 or so years." He answered, twisting to kiss her gently on the cheek. "But being with you is much better." He added with a smile. Again, he had to charm her to keep all his bones intact. If he had to guess, she whacked pretty hard. However, he meant it, too. "Are you SURE you don't want to just doze off? I have a feeling you will, anyway." He smiled. "You look pretty tired."

"It happens every so often." Tempe teased, lifting her head to meet the light kiss he planted on her cheek. "Sounds boring." She teased softly, closing her eyes again. "Good." She hummed softly, blowing out a small breath as she slumped a little against him, and a little less against the couch. She thought for a moment at his question, then nodded slowly. "Are you sure?" She asked quietly, opening her eyes to peer up at him.
