Stallion - Age 5 - Cookie 🍪 - Mate: No -

Cookie grinned pleased, it's been a long while since he had a friend he could just hang and mess around with. Aduits swilved forward as he praced over to align himself striaght and narrow with the finish line. He stood rather calm, though butterflies swam over his stomach. He hasn't had a good run in a while. Thick plumage swished as his hues glanced over to Fallen. "Ready?" he nickered before facing forward again. (He waited for Fallen) A hoof pawed at the ground, eyeing Fallen to read his actions as he let out a snort. "On Your Mark..... Set......GO!" he nickered.

Back hooves dung into the ground as he forced himself forward in a large stride. Front hooves lifted into the air before stricking hard and off he flew. Blue hues set forward as a gust of wind brisket through his mane as it bounced up and down on his neck. His forelock handsomely swaying at the side of his frame. Chuckling to himself, he kept his hues forward as he made himself go faster with each long stride, feeling one with the land.

Mare - Age 4 - Taffy or Taff - Mate: Heck No! -

Tilting her frame as her dark forelock moved away from her eyesight. Brown hues circled up towards the dams frame once more. Audits swilved forward before they fell back in sorrow "I... I am so sorry" as her attention went down to the grounds for a moment. Hearing close by yells, an audit flicked as she looked out towards the two paints, seems they was gearing up for a challenge, a race perhaps? Curious, she watched as they took off, audits perked in some interest at whom might win.

She pondered "Mmmm. Same Markings huh?" she snorted as she glanced back towards the mare "Markings can move and change as a foal grows older. Funny, it would be if he was you lost son" she spat out pretty blunt before her attention went back towards the racing stallions.

Fallen chuckled slightly as he watched Cookie get in position, when he was racing he had two settings, he would either bust out and usually stay in the lead the whole race, or he would stay in the back of the pack until the final stretch and then make a come back. His biggest achievement in his mind was when he was in a quarter mile race against one of the fastest quarter horses. He got beside Cookie and was just standing perfectly relaxed until Cookie said go, he jumped into it and used his long strides to be right beside Cookie even though he was behind in the take off, he felt the wind throw his mane and forelock. He heard a growl on the wind and a neigh, he jumped to a stop and looked up to the hill where there were two mares.

Jewel watched the stallions take off, they were beside each other when her attention was was drawn to the woods because she sensed something. "Do you smell that? It's like a mountain lion." She said as she looked to the woods and saw something move. "Watch it." She said as the mountain lion growled and jumped out of the woods towards the spotted mare.

Stallion - Age 5 - Cookie 🍪 - Mate: No -

The painted stallion was merely having fun, keeping his pace as Fallen reached his side, blue hues flicked over to the stud, he gave a smirk as they was striding side by side until an audit swivled at the high pitch screams that echoed his ears. Shocked and caught off gaurd, he planted his feet hard to the ground and come to a sliding halt, his large hooves had torn up the ground behind him as he stood tall and alert, he was panting so hard, he could arely breathe. Nostrils flared as his frame turned and shot towards the two mares and a flash of yellow from a mountain lion coming from the woods.

Gasping, and with no second thought, the stallion bolted towards the mares as fast as his feet could carry him, audits pinning as the spotted mare struggled to get it off her haunches. Though, he was terrified, blue hues locked on the creature as it hit the grounds from the mare's buck, he ran towards it sending a hard nip to it's back.

Letting out a squel of his own, as the big cat turned quick to lash out at his frame, and just missed him to as he circled from behind the mares, lifting up into a powerful rear, he pawed the ground with a bob of his frame, anything to get the lion to focus on him and not the mares. "Over here, you over grown pussy cat" he nickered with another paw to the ground

Mare - Age 4 - Taffy or Taff - Mate: Heck No! -

The small mare was so lost in her own little word of thinking about her senerio of that painted stud being this mares lost foal. Her aduits flicked hearing the mare speak, bringing her back to reality "Hmm?" she softly hummed as she looked toward the mares pertifired frame and to her surprise, a loud echoed yell from a mountain lion made the hairs on her back stand up as a cold shiver shot through her spine. But, before she could react as her frame shot towards the woods, her brown hues was lock to the more feirce golden hues, letting out a scream as she reared up in frieght. Large claws deeply began to dig into her back hautches, feeling the lion's teeth skid across her rump, hues was wide, but yet she was angry.

Audits quickly pinned, feeling the pain instantly as the creature lashed on to her, throwing her head down, she thrusted her back legs into the air, kicking out at the lion, trying hard to get him to release, for a moment she looked like a rodeo bronc "Let go of me!" she angerly spat as with a quick turn and a fast buck, her powerful small hooves manages it kick the lion's side and throwing him off and onto the ground.

Feeling the dizziness overwhelm her, she stummbled back a few steps, trying to focus on where she was, all she could do was feel the deep gashes trickle blood down her legs. The scent of blood filling her muzzle as her slender frame turned back to at the wound. Letting out a sigh, her frame quickly bobbed up seeing, Cookie, the brown and white painted stallion take a blow to the creature as it let out another echoed hiss. She forced herself to trot as her hues landed on the river not far from where Jewel's herd resigned. Each step was agony to her, as she bared her teeth and nickered out in muffeld pain. Before she knew it, her vison began to blur and the calsped on her side, stuggling to sit up right, as her head met with soft grasses, all she seen was the painted stallion rearing up a few feet away, and the blurred figures of Jewel and the other stud, fallen. Quickly fading to black.

Jewel watched as the mountain lion jumped onto Taffy, she didn't even have time to react before the painted stallions were there. She saw the brown painted stallion fighting with the cougar, while he had its attention she charged at the mountain lion and spun around to kick it, she made decent collision with its side, sending it backwards. She looked for Taffy immediately seeing her on the ground.

Fallen rushed to the mares right beside Cookie, when he got there he helped distract the mountain lion, but them when he saw the spotted mare go off he followed to help, when she collapsed he ran to her and started trying to help her. He let out a sharp whinny and Patriot popped his head up and looked to Fallen, Patriot and a couple of other horses ran over to the spotted mare laying on the ground and started helping Fallen. They didn't know this mare, but they trusted Fallen.

The lion let out another peirced growl through the air, as the stallion charged at it, lashing out another anger filled buck, clacking his teeth as he nipped hard at it's side once more, another paw swung towards his back legs, in hurry to miss the claws he lashed out another stride of an leg, clocking the big cat in it's frame, the stallion's nostrils flared as he turned to face the cat once more, with another bob of his frame as his front hooves struck the air before slamming down, the cat soon raced away, bleeding and scared as it jumped back into the woods and disappeared. "That's right! Go!" he nickered as his hues landed on {Jewel}, he trotted over "Are you okay?" he softly asked before he followed her gaze to see the spotted mare laying on the grounds, he let out a small gasp as he trotted over closer, audits flicked as he paused seeing members from the herd and the herd leader coming over. Audits softly pinned in worry, as he quietly watched them try to help her, his raced seeing the blood on her rump, his frame hung low with a flick of his plumage

Mare - Age 4 - Taffy or Taff - Mate: Heck No! -

The mare felt paralized as everything went black, she could feel her mind running crazy, for a moment she thought she was dying as her body ached from the deep wounds that was oozing red liquid on her rump, which had also reopened old scars from years ago... nostrils flared rather fast as grass tickled her muzzle, audits flicked as she faintly heard a nicker, her brown obs softly opened, and to her blurred vison she noticed the painted stud, the older mare referred to as Fallen, the lead stud of the herd towering over her and a few others. She tried to ift her head from the ground and soon felt the soft nudges of them trying to help her up. Kicking out her legs, she forced herself to sit up through painful grunts.

Finally, the mare was sitting up on her legs, nostrils flared as she was tired, it took all the energy it felt like to get her up, audits softly swilved as she blinked, her vison becoming better, as she looked around at everyone, though she mainly focused on Fallen and the golden stud known as Patriot, forcing a smile through the pain she nickered "Thank you.." before she turned to look at her wounds, sighing her audits pinned "just great" she muttered as he reached out to smell the blood that was trickled down her dark pelt

(So sorry, My two brothers and my sisters softball season started and so I have been covering for them a lot at work and overall haven't been on here much. I am finally on top of everything and can be on more! I will get a reply up as soon as possible)
