"Being only half human probably helps this time too..." she admitted with a chuckle giving a gentle sigh "So what do you think my dad is planning?" she asked looking at him "Especially since its not just a boys night out anymore." Edited at May 23, 2023 06:15 PM by Polar Lights

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "That's probably true," he mused with a yawn. "Though I did sort of like feeding it before," he chuckled lightly, rolling into his back with a soft huff of air. Then he looked over at Max and shrugged. "I dunno. But can we think tomorrow? My brains fried for tonight," he chuckled.

"Well you still might have to..." she admitted "Depending on how this goes." she chuckled lightly before frowning "Aw is my baby tired?" she cooed before kissing him playfully "I'm glad to have assisted in frying your brains..." she giggled before she curled into her husband "I love you... old man..." she teased.

Sage hummed lightly and nodded. "I guess we'll see," he hummed lightly. Then he chuckled and nodded, holding his arms out for her to cuddle up in. "Yes, you're baby's tired," he giggled happily. "I'm quite glad you fried my brains too," he hummed lightly. "I'm also glad for sleep," he chirped, closing his arms around her and cuddling in happily. "If I'm old you're old...you're older than me," he reminded her, though his voice was muffled since he buried it in her.

Maxine giggled at his comment "Sure I am... you've been technichally alive for how many more years then me after becoming a demon?" she asked with a smirk "Goodnight my handsome demon." she cooed happily before she drifted slowly off to sleep. By the morning she was awake and had already gotten Charlie set up in her bouncer and everything and was making breakfast as per usual... though when Sage came out she was happily snacking on things she'd already prepared and had laid out... Currently she was making bacon... and of course was unable to stop herself from eating it. there was an empty package of it and a half empty package of it sitting on the counter but there was definitely not almost 2 full packages on the plate that was sitting beside the stove.

Sage merely chuckled at Max's comment about age before nestling in a bit further and letting himself drift off happily. Once he woke up, late-ish as per the usual, he padded into the kitchen with a yawn once he smelled the food cooking. Not much could get him out of bed that quickly, but a good meal did just that. Especially if it was Max's home cooked food. Especially meat....he did rather enjoy the meat part of the dinner, but that was expected he supposed. He did note all the food Max had already eaten, though he didn't say anything about it...he just let himself smile slightly at the sight before kissing Max good morning and grabbing himself a nice big plate of bacon as well. Mission accomplished, he slid down on the chair next to Max, still definitely half asleep.

Max smiled at her husbands kiss before she too sat down to eat her fairly healthy stack of pancakes and eggs after setting down a plate for her husband. Charlie babbled happily and clapped her hands "Daadaaaa" she squeaked happily.

Sage smiled over at Charlie blearily and kissed her on the forehead. "Hey baby girl," he chirped happily. He really was amazed at how fast she was growing...it seemed like only yesterday she'd come into the world, and now she was walking and talking.

Maxine giggled happily at the two of them "Definitely a daddy's girl..." She admitted with a smirk.

Sage grinned tiredly over at Max and nodded happily. He was rather proud of Charlie, and every time the girl said his name or saw him and lit up, it made his chest seem to swell up happily. "She's growing up so fast," he hummed absentmindedly after a moment, chewing on breakfast as he watched the girl shovel food into her mouth.
