Trystan (Tryst) Bergman

Job: Exercise Rider

Appearance: Tryst is 5'4 and of a smaller frame. Her features are dainty and accompanied by round honey brown eyes, fuller lips, and a "german" nose. Tryst likes to keep her "mousey" brown hair long enough to touch the bottoms of her shoulder blades. Often her hair is in a singular fishtail braid or in some other fun updo she learned to accomplish. Her skin stays a warm tanned color due to the countless hours she spends outside working/trampasing around. When she is in her riding/work gear she tends to keep to muted tones (browns, blacks, muted pinks or greens) and black riding boots. Her casual wear is just that- casual. She never dresses up and loves momjeans, sweaters, and clothing she sees the granola instagram girls wear.

Personality: Tryst is a bubbly but mature girl. She finds it easy to make friends and loves being social with those around her. This is not an easy girl to ryle up or anger but when you do you better watch out! Tryst is very empathetic and gets sad easily over others pain (including animals). She is a hard worker and tends to be the first one up and last one asleep, this has made school and learning very easy for her.

Backstory: Tryst was born in a town 45 minutes outside of Berlin Germany to a well to do father, and a not so well to do mother. Her name was a result of how she got here (Tryst). Despite her unfortunate begining she was a well loved little girl and spent most of her childhood at her fathers estate in the countryside. Growing up with an older half-brother gave her that tom-boy edge but her mother made sure she was a well rounded woman no matter what. Riding has always been apart of her life (her father saw it as a way to cure her of her mother's "rough" bloodline). At age 13 her father and mother decided to send her to a boarding school in Vermont so she could experience something other than Germany. The boarding school was an upperclass one with an equestrian team and her father even decided to gift her a new "American" horse to go on the journey with her. Since her move Tryst has become an American citizen and competed in several competitions all over the Eastern region of the states. Despite the six years she has spent in the states her German accent still shows and she sometimes struggles to find the right words (she once called a donkey a long eared cow by mistake) this dilemma is an insecurity of hers and she wishes to rid herself of it completely.

Appearance: 16.5 hh tall and a gorgeous deep bay with a single smudge of white on his pole.

Personality: Krigare is a laid back guy who loves his girl more than anything in the world. He gets along well with any creature he meets and has a soft spot for donkeys (his paddock mates at Tryst's old school). While he is getting on in his years it is not strange to see this boy galloping through the field or giving attitude in his stall when he is not getting his way. Just like Tryst he is a very hard worker and will not complain if he is trained for longer than normal or riden for quite awhile. He loves his job and loves easy rides just as much.

Likes: Beer perscribed to keep his joints young, and honey covered apples every now and again

Dislikes: Carrots, small dogs, and fly masks put on by anyone other than Tryst.

Appearance: Catherine is 5'5 and of a slighter build. Though she is small she still has softer curves and rounder cheeks. Her hair is a honeyed brown that is accompanied by blue eyes and thicker brows. She tans quite golden in the summer but is rather pale the rest of the year. (Think a young Brooke shields)
Personality: Catherine is a very type-A personality. She enjoys being around others and thrives off of social interaction but prefers her friends to be as goal-oriented and organized a she is. In the times where she is not riding she is painting or working on her musical talents. Her background as a socialite in Germany led her to be artistically and musically inclined though these are not talents she likes to admit to publicaly. She jokes around quite often and enjoys those who can understand her dry sense of humor. Catherine is not one for confrontation or admitting to how she feels, she has always found it hard to open up to people about herself and her emotions. She can be very blind to how others feel and process emotions which can make her come off as cold and rude though she tries not to be. She is a hard worker and devotes herself to her riding and academics.
Background (Optional): Catherine grew up rather wealthy on her father's estate in Germany. She has been riding since she was six and has been showjumping since she was ten. It was her mother's dying wish that her father kept her active in equestrianism. Her mother died when she was rather young and the only memories she has with the woman exist in polaroids taken by her older brother. She has a half-sister named Trystan who was the product of an affair her father had before her birth. Trystan and Catherine grew up closely despite the awkward circumstances between their father and Trystan's mother. In the summers they would spend together the girls would go on circuits together and play make-believe in the rolling fields of their country home. As they grew up however the girls grew further apart, their bond weakening when Trystan was sent to a boarding school in Virginia. Seeing how well it did her sister, Catherine's father eventually decided to send her to one in America as well, hoping the time away would improve her skills academically and as an equestrian. Although she is a German native her English is well developed and her accent hardly exists due to her time in study with English Tudors. Catherine hardly speaks to her eldest brother and does not know much about his life now, a truth that pains her greatly. (WIP)

Personality: Tamlin is a well-adjusted and laid-back gelding. He prefers work over leisure time and is just as hardworking as his rider. He loves children and does not spook often.
Background (Optional): Tamlin was bought as a going-away present by Catherine's father when he was four years old. In the two years, he has spent with the girl they have developed a strong bond. He is a talented showjumper but it is evident that Catherine still has some trust to gain with him in the arena.

Appearance: 17.0 hh Silver Bay mare with four white socks and a large white blaze. Pale mane is often left down but well kept and shiny.
Personality: Amarantha can be haughty and hard to handle, hence why Cat got her for eventing. This mare is fresh and full of energy, always ready to work and please.

Background (Optional): Amarantha was bought by Catherine, her first-ever sole purchase of her own not bought by her father. This mare was bred in Colorado and hails from a successful line of eventer and jumpers.
