July 192 “In The Spotlight” Contest!

Each month we have this contest to highlight a group of horses. The theme is determined by either the Club or the previous months' winners.

This contest's Theme is “Steeplechase!”

The Rules (PLEASE read before entering)

1. All entries must be in before noon HEE time on July 10th and then a voting page will be set up to choose the winner. The voting poll will end at noon HEE time on July 16th. Winners will be announced & eb prizes and capture items sent by 11pm HEE time on July 16th and the rest by July 22nd (in case of a tie a random generator will be used)

2. All Entries must include the horses's name

3.All Entries must provide a link to the horse, and a pic of the horse for others to view (if you have trouble with either post the horses's name & offical number)

4. Horses must be living and owned by you the entire contest.

5. Only horses the age of 3-17 are eligible unless otherwise specified

6. No manipulations may be entered in this contest.

For THIS Contest these requirements for entry:

1. Jumping saddle, saddle pad, Bridle & Boots (no color requirements)

The proper tack for a steeplechase rules state a “good condition saddle & bridle, saddle pad & protective boots” If you want more authenticity, some require a breastplate, some require an over-girth (you could try this with a bareback pad under your saddle OR a surcingle over it)

Edit: the boots are Splint Boots sorry I didn't specify earlier

2. Background MUST be one of the following- Irish Field, Cross Country Course Or Grassy Valley

ANYTHING else you want to add to make it look more realistic, Go For It!

I anticipate that we might have a small BIG capture day on March (oops) July 17th. Therefore capture prizes are added and will be sent out by 11pm HEE time of July 16th.
