| Eve, I tried the thundershirt on Merlin before he passed. I used it consistently through thunderstorms, fireworks, etc. and it never worked. He'd still shake and whimper and hide in corners. |

| I try to find a good middle ground, where I'm not shaking homes and damaging rooftops, while also being able to have some time to enjoy the night Just, some people are big grouchy I suppose |

| Ahhh. Yeah... I can understand the mortars being uncomfortable. Or the screechy ones. I tend to cover my ears for those, otherwise my ears twinge in juuuust the right way to be obnoxious. I launch mortars over the lake, though. No rooftops to land on there, and FAR fewer people. |

| Thank you guys <3 I'll go back out there and continue my fun time. I'll stick to my "quiet" roman candles and launch the "loud" ones (the slightly crackly ones...) on the lake tomorrow, on the launch dock. |

| I also had a super cute moment. A kid across the street, I'd say about the age of 10? Had never played with a firework before. He walked over with his mama and she asked if he could play with one because he never had before. I gave them one of my inexpensive, full packages. He was having an absolute blast. It was adorable. |
