Camery just stared at him after a moment, her brows pinched tightly together. What was she supposed to do? He wasn't talking to her. She sort of leaned over him, trying to find his face. "Something is wrong," she murmured. "You gotta tell me," she whispered.

"Its nothing..." his voice faded, now fully crying. She was mad at him for sure now. She didn't want his help. She didn't want him to be around. His mind kept spiraling from there.

Camery drew in a soft breath, trying to calm herself down. This was... frustrating. He needed to talk to her, or she couldn't help. "Malakai, you're crying. Something is wrong," she breathed gently. She sort of put a soft hand on his cheek, gently asking him to look at her. "Please talk to me."

Kai flinched away from her hand then realizing it was her. "Im sorry..." he cried.

Camery pulled her hand away when he flinched, and shook her head, moving to sit up slightly, keeping a hand on his shoulder. She wasn't gonna be able to help him like this. She sighed softly, her thumb moving gently across his skin. "Don't be sorry," she whispered. She didn't know what was wronf... but she wasn't going to stress herself out too much, especially if she wasn't gonna get anything out of him about all this.

Kais mind spiraled further, breathing quickening, crying intensified.

Camery kept a hand on his shoulder, although when it all started getting worse, all she could think to do was curl up behind him wrap a hand softly around his stomach. She pressed her forehad into his back. "You're alright, babe," she murmured quietly.

Kai cried for a good long time. He rolled over and buried his face in her chest, crying.

Cam just sat there with him for as long as she could, although when he moved to hug onto her, she couldn't help but squeeze him a little tighter. She ran a hand up into his hair, drawing soft patterns across his scalp as he cried.

Eventually, Kai calmed down, still buried in her chest.
