"Rose?" She asked, wondering why he used her real name. "Something wrong?"

"No, why do you ask?" Caden asks, a confused expression on his face as he looked up at her.

He chuckled a beat, glancing back at his papers then at Rose. "What?" Caden asks, confused.

"It just caught me by surprise, that's all. I can see you're gonna be busy so..." She muttered, walking out and folding her arms. SHe sighed and walked up to the bedroom, sitting on the bed and doomscrolling

"Oh," He responded, waving her off and finishing a quarter of the papers in two hours before heading into the kitchen and making breakfast.

Rose sat upstairs, thinking about what he might be working on. She flipped on a movie that looked interesting after a while, not really watching

"Murphy, c'mere you dummy." He called, the great dane sprinting over to him.

At roughly six PM, Caden finished reviewing everything and trudged upstairs, back hurting from being in that chair all day as he got his things to shower.
