(kay) Caden followed behind them, getting turned down as they went back into the rooms. He was mad but kept a blank expression, walking back out and going to sit on the curb next to his bike. He sat for a long time, mind a river as he thought about everything. The man realised how lucky he was that Rose was still alive, it bringing more tears to his eyes until he started full on sobbing and cursing in Russian, which he only let escape when he was at his breaking point. All the worries of Rose, taking care of her everyday, constantly working to try and find or even make something to help her-to get his Rose back-was finally adding up on him. He held his head in his hands, sobbing his heart out as his mind went one direction, his heart going the other. |

Rose woke, in pain but alone in a dark, sterile hospital room. As soon as she could see, she saw a nurse checking her vitals. "Hey, hon. Take it easy, kay?" The nurse said, placing an hand on ROse's arm. "Your husband is outside. Want me to get him?" She offered, Rose nodding with hurt lungs. The nurse walked out to Caden, placing a hand on his shoulder. "Hey, she wants you. She's awake but her vitals are everywhere. Would you like me to take you to her?" She offered, a soft expression on her face |

Caden looked up at her, eyes dull instead of the usual flame that always burned brightly inside them. It was as if the tendrils of smoke still twirled in the air as he looked up before nodding. "Yeah, i'd appreciate it." He croaked, voice flat instead of the upbeat. The man followed her quietly, pulling a chair up and sitting beside her bed before taking her hand in his and raising it to his lips once. |
