Welcome to Villarreal Ridge
Hey yall! I've decided to make this forum post to track the progress of the different programs I have going on currently. I'm starting about halfway in between beginning and middle of my progress, so some things have been achieved so far, but I'm not close to my ultimate goals yet! I'd like to consider myself an established player, however with me still growing my show stock, I often do smaller matches, or matches with limited/no items, so if you're looking for motivation or inspiration I'm here for you!
.
.
Current Programs:
-All Discipline Ratings (SH)
- All Discipline Color (SH)
- All Discipline Ratings* (PON)
.
.
Ultimate Stable Goal:
- WWW/W 1/1 (with Seal Brown) SH Filly at #1 ABLB
- WWW/W 1/1 (with Seal Brown) SH Colt at #1 ABLB
- WWW/W 1/1 (with Appaloosa) PON Filly at #1 ABLB
- WWW/W 1/1 (with Appaloosa) PON Colt at #1 ABLB
.
.
Find out more about each program and it's progress below!

All Discipline Ratings (SH)
.
Background & Goals: I'm primarily a Sport Horse breeder, so naturally I have a AD ratings program with them. I have a barn dedicated to the project, and a decent amount of stock. As an added challenge, this program along with all of my others, only use SH and PON in my lines, in a goal to produce high quality "pure" SH and PON. My goal with this program is to produce ABLB studs, and at least SHLB broods. My short term goals are to consistently produce WEE+ combo fillies and WWE+ combo colts.
.
.
Current Progress: Since Feb. 1st I have produced both a WWW colt and a flashy WWE colt, both with hopefully some LB potential. I've also produced a few EWW fillies, and EWE fillies, WWE filly, and quite a few EEE mares, along with purchasing mares ranging from EEE to EWW combos.

All Discipline Color (SH)
.
Background & Goals: Along with my ratings program, I'm also picky with color and have a barn dedicated to it. My eventual plan is to merge this program with my AD SH ratings program, in order to eventually get a WWW 1/1 filly, or a WWW Seal Brown filly! I have preferred colors, however I have some that are banned from this program. I do not allow roan, sabino, or rabicano, in any capacity and I'm phasing out grullo as well. The horses in this program also must contain tobiano, frame, appy, splash, pearl, cream, silver, or champagne, with the mares ideally carrying multiple of these genes, or at least homo in one of them. There is also a minimum rating requirement of PPP, but will soon be upped to PEE once I'm able to produce them consistently from this stock. Similar to my AD SH ratings program, I will only ever use SH or PON in my lines.
.
.
Current Progress: I've currently got a WEE stud, along with a handful of EEE studs, that carry the genes I aim for but typically I'm using straws or outside studs to try and up my mares ratings/color in the mean time while I fix my lack of tracking training. I also am relatively statisfied with the broods I currently have, while I don't love their ratings, they're a good foundation to begin with!

All Discipline Ratings* (PON)
.
Background & Goals: My PON program is currently in it's starting phases, however is beginning to come along nicely. Much like the other programs, I only use SH or PON in my lines, and with PON obviously I use almost exclusively PON. This program is unique as marked by the asterisk, as it combines both goals of my ratings and color program. My short term plans are to gather EEE+ PON mares that meet the color requirements, and either straws or studs that are WWW and also meet the color requirements. I breed exclusively appaloosa PON, with the same restrictions as my AD SH Color program. My long term goals are to produce WWW PONLB/ABLB stallions and mares, that meet the color requirements and are ideally homo Lp. I do not currently have a barn dedicated to my PON breeding, so they are scattered between both my AD and Color program barns as linked above. Eventually I'd like to incorporate bravery into this program as I have a mare that is E rated, however this is an end of the road addition to the program and is not yet added.
.
.
Current Progress: I've currently got a few EEE PON mares from both a mixture of breeding and purchases (thank you Lyssa!) that aren't of breeding age yet, so I'm currently tracking training to hopefully produce successful matches. I also have a few color mares that are hopefully going to help incorporate tobiano, frame, and appy (LpLp) into my lines, while their ratings are only PPP+ they have some solid genes that I'm hoping to breed up! I've also managed to breed a EEE PON color stud, that I'm hoping will help raise the ratings while I wait for a strong PONLB stud to come around, that meets my color requirements.

Year 177 Goals
.
Breeding Goals: These are loose ideas for now, but I'd like to set up/match for a Lp PON, and WWW foal from my Atris embryo!
.
Showing Goals: I'd love to add a 8th barn to my show string, study up on Federations, and plan for a gelding breeding operation! The operation would essentially be me gathering low-quality EEE mares to constantly produce PPP+ geldings for me, and fillies to FR the folllowing year.
