Emma, looking quite fragile and pale, lay there on her hospital bed. The heart monitor beeped steadily beside her, her hands by her sides and the only thing moving was her chest with every breath she took--no matter how short.

Emma woke a few hours later as the sun was setting. She had a splitting pain all along her side where the stitches were, her gasping with nearly every breath. "Leim?" She muttered

"What...happened?"

"Why?" She asked, panicking as her heartrate shot up

Emma was shaking in fear again, crying
