Veterinarians work some good medical magic <3 I used to work in vetmed and the vets I worked with were some of the bets people I've ever worked with.

We thought she might need surgery but the vet came up with a game plan to switch antibiotics and her eye looks 10 times better.

She had a nasty infection and she had chunks of hair missing :( Her tail still isnt evened out with hair but her infected eye isnt infected anymore. She does have a smaller eye than the other but the vet cleared it and said she would be okay

Sure! You could also listen to music/sing, listen to a podcast, listen to an audiobook (some screen involved to get it going but then screen free), do some stretches/exercise/yoga...there's so much to do that doesn't require a screen :)

Go for a walk somewhere pretty, draw, do some sort of craft you enjoy, cook something, do a puzzle, color in a coloring book...there's more options but that's what I've got off the top of my head

Hi!
So I have 2 horses a 10 yr old bay mare Irish called Gracie and 15yr old bay riding pony Ollie,
I really want to event but Gracie has fragile legs and Ollie had a check ligament... Any advice?

This is a horse online game - and no one here knows you, your riding skills or your horses. If you know, that both have health issues, you should ask a local vet to take a look and give you advise.
Or you ask your trainer or stable owner.
Eventing training is a tough job for both, horse and rider and you would need a healthy horse and a good trainer to pimp up your skills and keep the horse sound!

At the end of the day, competing and training should never be valued over a horse's soundness or comfort. Conditioning and aftercare can keep a horse's legs sounder for longer, but ligament injuries in general make me wary of pushing them too far. If you are desperate to event but don't have the horsepower yourself, working for an event rider can be a really good way to get your foot in the door, and potentially get yourself a ride on one of their horses for the lower levels if you're lucky.

I completely agree with Whitemoss Stud. You shouldnt do it if it puts your horse in danger or risk of an injury. Like Whitemoss said, if you are desprate to do eventing then you should work for an event rider, it's better than putting you and your horse in danger or risk of injury(s).
