You can't breed for brindle, it's entirely at random. It is fairly rare, yes.

Unfortunately yes. Its entirely random and not passed on genetically from parents.

Yup. So save your money from those (most likely) expensive brindle matches, and just keep breeding until you get one! Good luck!
