This week we'd love to know how you breed your horses!

For AD I use mainly outside boys, with the exception of my one stud. SD I use almost entirely my own, unless I have a really good mare up 2-3 on wk3.

For the two or three matches I take seriously on each account every month, I use outside studs. I don't like venturing beyond #10 on each breed's stud LB.

I'm currently blessed to have my own LB boy, but even as such, I'm often using other peoples' boys for my good mares.

It depends on the mares i'm breeding and the stallions I have that year

I really have a phobia about inbreeding (I know its only pixels but...) so I use a lot of differrent stallions.

Also I love to look at the 2 year old boys and ask for straws from ones that match my requirements. Sometimes it really pays off.

Unfortunately my studs are too low on the board (#16 and #20), so I pair my mares with top 10 boys! In thr past, I have bred my studs to non-lb mares just to see hwo they do. When I have extra funds, I love buying broods/embryos to outside mares.

I've been lucky enough to mainly use my own boys for the last couple RL years but now that they have started to retire I am having to venture out to other boys on the LB. However it is nice to use outside studs and mix things up, and bring in new genetics!

I try matching by finding stallion or mares that compliment each other weakness.

I mostly breed to other people's horses since I'm more likely to find studs that match my mares better. I do use my own studs sometimes a few hours/days after my main matches are done to see if I can get something good out of them out of curiosity :P
