Because it means forever.” She turned her hand in his, letting him trace the diamond, then leaned forward and pressed a kiss to his temple. “I’d say yes to you even if it was a twist-tie from a bread bag, Finn. But this?” She laughed quietly, wiping at one of her eyes. “This is perfect. You always make everything feel perfect.” |

Her expression faltered instantly. “Oh—” she gasped, quickly sitting up and stumbling off the bed, a hand clamped over her mouth. She barely made it to the bathroom in time, dropping to her knees again as she vomited into the toilet. The cold tile sent a shock up her legs, but she barely noticed, eyes watering as her stomach heaved. It was the second time in two days. Something definitely wasn’t right. When the wave finally passed, she leaned back against the wall, panting softly, wiping her mouth with trembling fingers. “Okay,” she mumbled to herself, “this isn’t just too much sugar.” |

Finn ran after her, settling a steady hand on her back and rubbing circles into her skin, his hand glowing blue as he used his magic to soothe her stomach. "Yeah..." he agreed warily. He couldn't figure it out... she wasn't pregnant, they hadn't done anything in months because Finn was so depressed ever since they'd gotten back from war. He had only gotten better a few weeks ago, but they still hadn't done anything. |
