Rocky was hiding in the corner doing.......dog things before he ran over to Emery and hopped up onto the bar. "Uh....okay...?" She said, grabbing the dog and setting him back onto the floor. |

Noah sighed, not paying attention. The more he looked at the catalog of art supplies, the more sad he got. He couldn't pay for any of this... |

"Hey Noah?" Emery started, turning to face him. "When's your birthday again?" |

"January 2nd," he sighed. It was way past his birthday, almost summer now. He'd spent his birthday with Rowan, which wasn't a very good birthday. |

Emery just nodded, coming with a few ideas. She wasn't there for really any of his birthdays since they'd been on-off, maybe she could get him the supplies as a make up? |

Noah slipped off in his thoughts, thinking about his last birthday. It had really been awful... |

She dicded on the plan and turned her computer opposite of him, remembering what brands he'd had a lot of and what his favorites were before ordering them. |

Noah practically sunk into the couch, his mind whirling with bad thoughts. |
