Matrix is going to be 8 in September yet still behaves like a pup most of the time. My first zoi was his grand-aunt, who also got pretty serious as soon as she turned 3, but she could get up to some mischief every now and then

Paddy must have been stuck in the birth canal for a while I think bless him. He does have his moments but getting stuck somewhere with a little blank stare is his trademark

I am very familiar with the 2 braincells thing! I was always wondering why people claim my breed is stupid while I had only girls. they are very smart, downright cunning. Now I have one male and he's the biggest himbo. In fall he keeps carrying around hedgehogs he finds in the yard, like some sort of world's shittiest rollercoaster!

Norm did help me herd 60ish ram lambs every day for a while though so he does have his talents. Actual herding isn't particularly one of them but he tried his best and didn't bite or chase anything so I was happy xD

Haha I wish- they're utterly useless xD I was hoping Norm would show an interest in ratting so I could use him on the farm I worked at and in my own paddock, but he wouldn't say boo to a goose. In fairness he did grow up with a hamster so it's sort of understandable. Paddy's a little bit more "kill-y" but he's got 2 functioning braincells on a good day so unless something is presented to him he's useless haha

Build: Well proportioned head with a slighly short, highly set and moderately well muscled neck that joins to a prominent wither and a nice shoulder. She has a short and slightly wide back that is tradititonal for a Paso Fino with a moderately flat croup and well muscled hindquarters that join to well angled, short hind legs. A long silver mane adorns her neck and her equally flowing, but white tail decorates her hind end.
Temprament: Incredibly sensitive, flighty, distrustful of people and requires an experienced rider/handler as she can be very highly strung in hand and under saddle due to anxiety.
Movement: She posesses the beatiful smooth gaits that a Paso Fino does and executes them with ease. Her other paces are slightly choppy with shorter strides and high head carriage that results in regular hollowing of the back under saddle that can only be managed my an experienced rider who can successfuly ask her to collect and maintain the collection even though it is difficult for her.
Training: Flatwork to build muscle, balance, and suppleness throught her body, especially through her ribcage. Currently learning to work in frame, flexion and playing with the idea of bend through her whole body.

Brief History of Their Life: Silver Dancer was bred at a traditional Paso Fino stud as a showhorse. She was abruptly weaned from her dam at 6 months and turned out with the other foals for a year and a half to grow up with no human contact. When the foals turned two, they were rounded up into pens, separated based on gender, some colts were gelded, they were all branded, some were carted off for auction while others stayed at the stud and were turned out for another year. By the time that the year was up, Silver Dancer had only experienced negative human interaction and was already understandably scared of them. When Silver Dancer was three, she was broken using abusive methods and used as a cowhorse for the next five years of her life.

When Dancer was in her 8th year of life, there was a series of enormous bushfires in the area that her ranch was. The fires were closing in and the ranch employees didn't have enough time to move the horses to a safe place, so they released them from their paddocks so that they could escape the flames. Dancer and her paddock mates roamed around for a few weeks before they were captured by an animal shelter that was called by the general public. They were well cared for and given medical attention to care for their scars and burns and were put up for auction as soon as they were healthy enough.

Being a lot less fearful of people, her paddock mates were sold much quicklier than Dancer and were given good homes by people looking for a paddock mate for their horses. Dancer continued to stay at the shelter, despite being taken to every auction they hosted. The shelter had a policy regarding the amount of time that an animal can stay in their care before being put down and it was Dancer's last chance at being adopted at auction before the shelter could no longer keep her. Luckily, (x character) was at this auction and she was informed by someone who knew someone at the shelter that it was Dancer's last chance. As Silver Dancer was led into the auction pen and driven around, the auction kicked off and once again no-one placed any bids. The auction was almost over when (x character) finally made up her mind to purchase this flighty mare.

Build: "Poppy" is a tall and elegant horse with very refined features. An elegant head couples onto a highly set, well muscled, long and elegant neck, resembling that of a swan's. The withers are smooth and slope gently, his shoulders are well muscled, and lift effortlessly when he moves. His barrel is lean and muscular, with just the right amount of skin covering his ribs. His back is a good length and not too wide. His point of croup is completely level to his withers and his hindquarters are beautifully muscled, carrying him marvellously in the collected movements of Grand Prix Dressage. His long, elegant legs are wonderfully set and there is a straight line running through his point of buttock, hock, pastern and the ground.
Temprament: Sweet, gentle and level headed horse. Poppy is a huge cuddle bug and a pleasure to be around. He takes good care of his riders and is incredibly willing in everything he does. He is a polite and well mannered horse, but prefers bonding to certain individuals. Poppy is a very affectionate horse and can often be seen grooming his stall neighbours, as well as his human friends. He is not easily phased and passes on his wonderful temprament to his offspring.
Movement: Poppy Fields has a very floaty movement with high knee and hock action. He posesses a natural suspension and cadence, developed beautifully by his dressage training. He is a nicely balanced horse and stays very straight in his tempi changes and piaffe. His movements feel smooth and powerful to ride and he carries himsef beautifully in frame with a very light contact. Very supple through his entire body and changes bend with ease. He has an uphill tendency and has a wonderful ability to carry himself on his hind legs. It feels and looks as if Poppy Fields flies in his extentions of trot and canter. He is slightly forward horse but responds beautifully to half halts by really sitting and collecting.

Build: Golden Skies is a tall, well built and well muscled horse with floppy ears and a slightly roman nose. He has a nice deep chest with slightly stocky, long and powerful legs. WIP
Temprament: Golden Skies is just a big sook. He is an incredibly willing horse and enjoys his work almost as much as cuddles and food. His is a very laid back and chill horse, the definition of a gentle giant. He is very level headed and nothing seems to phase him. He takes care of his riders and despite his size, he is perfectly suitable for younger riders.
