Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

Down pours the rain

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

Down a horse’s mane

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

The rain pours

Like never before

There’s nothing left

So just,

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

Cover the ground

Fill the house

Please though,

Leave without a sound

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

Just go away,

In the night,

During the day

Sometime today

Like a train on the tracks

Stealing through the night

Depart from us

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop

Drip, Drip, Drip

The rain is gone

The sun is out

The ground is dry

Ready to start again

But,

During the night

Like a lion stalking it’s prey

The rain starts,

To bring more dreary days

Drip, Drop, Drip, Drop
