"No- that's not- never mind..." he muttered frustratedly. People always saw him as the fuck boy. He hated it. Everyone just assumed that he hooked up with every girl, but that wasn't true. He wasn't ready to do it with her either, he just asked her to be his girlfriend. Nate had thought that maybe Dakota was different, but I guess he was wrong. Nate got up and started packing. The meteor shower was over and it was late, and now he was frustrated. "Let's just go, it's late, I should get you home," he muttered and finished packing and loaded everything into his truck. |

"Nate" Dakota pleaded, walking to him. "Hey, you didn't do anything wrong." She explained, taking his hand. "It's alright. You can stay with me tonight if you want?" She offered, half smiling softly at him |

Nate backed away from her with his hands raised, frustrated and not wanting to be touched or reassured right now. "It's fine, lets just go," he muttered and got into his truck, starting it up. |

Dakota stayed silent as he drove her home. When she arrived, she got out and didn't say anything except for a thank you. She walked inside, feeling quite guilty for pissing him off. "I fucked up." She said, walking to her room. I'm sorry. You can stay over tomorrow? I'm sorry ❤️ she set down her phone and laid down on her bed before curling up and falling asleep |
