Lorelei closed her eyes and drifted off.

Kai drifted off soon after

Lorelei had a nightmare. She was back in her cell, her captor came back, using her again, violently. Lorelei woke screaming and crying.

Kai jolted awake, clutching her to his chest. "It wasn't real. You're safe. It's me, Kai, your boyfriend. I love you. You're safe, baby..." He hushed softly

Lorelei clung onto Kai, breathing hard as she cried.

"Are you alright?" He asked after a long moment of hushing her softly and rubbing her back while rocking a bit

Lorelei shook her head, just clinging onto him.

"Were you there again? In your dream?" He asked softly

Lorelei whinpered and nodded.

"Oh, baby it won't happen again. I promise my beautiful girl" He said softly, pecking her neck lightly. "They will pay for what they did."
