A nurse came in, "Yes?"

"About what time could we go? I don't think there's much else that can be done?"

The nurse nodded. "Let me check with her doctor," A few moment later she came back. "Her doctor will be back to check on her later this afternoon and if she's still stable, you may go,"

Kai nodded. "Thank you"

the doctor came in a few hours later. He checked everything, "okay, you're good to go. Just take it easy for a bit."

"Of course, thank you." Kai said smoothly, picking Lorelei up and carrying her to the car. He drove them home, carried her inside, set her on the bed, and cuddled up with her

Lorelei let him do so, cuddling in.

"Are you feeling any better?" He asked softly, tracing her curves gently with his hand

Lorelei nodded. "Yeah..."

"Now that we're home?" He asked, assuming that was why. "And I'm here?"
