Diablo snorted a little. "Maybe a giant red blinker that says *do not be startled, I'm a talking firefly and that is completely normal*" He answered sarcastically, turning to look at a gril that came into the clearing before looking back at the first one. "I figured it out quickly, thanks." He joked, then raised his eyebrows. "Yes. How do you think I'm still alive? I worked in the army for a couple years, then got trained by a special forces friend of mine. I can fight." Diablo tensed his jaw a little and crossed his arms across his broad chest as he leaned up agaist the tree and watched the others. |

Tiger looked at Diablo "Good because if you made it here you're about to find out that this is not going to be easy we have to convince the government that we are not all bad. But I know that we are going to have to fight to do that. It's not going to be pretty. Mantis can't fight. But his technology skills make up for that." Mantis gave tiger a look when she stopped talking. |

"Don't worry about my fighting skills, that definitely won't be an issue. It helps that Tasi's have impressive fighting instincts already." Diablo answered curtly, his tall frame swiveling a little as he observed the forest. |

(No one has accepted my sign-up sheet yet, which is fine, but ima just post rq) - Alaska Devyn stalked through the ushes, glowering. The police had almost found her already, and she had only been asleep for an hour. She huffed irritably and wandered around, thinking, before she heard voices. She tilted her head and stopped, then silently crept closer and crouched behind a bush. She could see an open clearing, with people. One man leaned up against a tree. Alaska guessed a good fighter by the scars and hardened expresison. Another looked fidgety and... nerdy. Probably didn't fight but most likely knew a fair amount. A female stood in the middle of the clearing. Alaska could tell by her postured stance that she was pprobably rather reactive and bossy. She turned her gaze to the last female, who looked a little quieter. After Alaska assessed each of them she just crouched in wait. |

Tiger smiled. She really like Diablo. His attitude was exactly what they needed. "All right. Mantis show Diablo the weapons you devoleped." Tiger said nodding to Diablo and Mantis beor she walked away. "allright right this way my friend" Mantis said walking towards a tree. |

Diablo perked up at the mention of weapons. "Did you design new ones? Are they still like guns and daggers but more... technoglogical? Do they have more power?" He spewed out questions, suddenly very interested. "Oof, now I'm excited. I'm a weapons expert... I fix them, make them, and use them." He explained, walking over willingly. |

Mantis smiled "a little of everything and only the best my friend. Like this for example." Mantis walked over to a tank "This tank is hydraulic. It's got more power than any other tank and can shoot twice as far. Or this." Mantis picked up a shotgun."It's a long range shotgun that points out your enemies weak spots." Mantis grinned proud of himself. |

River shifted uneasy her insticts told her she could trust these people but she wasn't too sure she had always been the silent one. she watched Tiger with interest. |

Diablo's eyes widened as he looked at the tank and the shotgun with a spark in his amber gaze. "That is awesome! How'd you do it? The shotgun, I mean, I've seen the idea of a hydrolic tank but never seen one invented. That is just so cool." He said excitedly, observing the shotgun with interest. This was the one thing he really did like... weaponry. And pointing out weak spots? He felt like a kid again. +++ Alaska listened for a moment, a tiny smile coming to her face at the guy's excitement for the weapons. She had to admit, they were pretty cool. Finally, after deciding these people probably weren't a threat and that if they were, she could fight them off... Alaska stood and walked into the clearing. Her Minnesotan accent rang clear and true as she spoke. "Hello everyone... I'm Alaska Devyn, a shifter, and I assume you are all the same thing from what I've heard?" |

"See this little chip here this is the guns brain." He quickly put the gun back togther." Now if you put these glasses on and point it at someone you will see their weak points. Don't worry the safety is on." Tiger looked at Alaska. "yes we are all shifters welcome. I'm tiger." She pointed at Diablo and Mantis "Over there we have Diablo and Mantis. And over there i don't know who that is." she looked at River with an uneasy feeling. |
