Areus | Stallion | Single | Mentions: Taleia Hearing how much she needed him, how much she loved having him by her side made his heart swell with joy. Here was this little mare showing him that he had someone who wanted him, who wanted to grow with him. This would be the first horse to ever want him in their life and it was a foreign yet heart warming feeling. "You really mean that?' Areus whispered softly, feeling her tail lash against his back. She was all he wanted, all he needed in his life. Maybe this was his chance at a new beginning, a new life, a fresh start to something he'd always imagine when he was alone. A desire for a family, one he'd never had as a young colt. But how could he just take another stallion's mare? And what was Taleia supposed to do about her colt? Areus knew he would take the foal in as his own and care for him, but what did Tal want? "If you want me here, then I will be here. But what...what do you want out of this? Out of me? What're you going to do about Val, about your colt? Again, I can't take that from you. I'll take your little colt in as my own but Val...?" The stallion nibbled along the mare's withers before nuzzling her cheek, trying to soothe her anxiety. He could feel how nervous she was telling him her thoughts and her secrets. He wanted to let her know that he was there, listening. A few strands of his forelock slipped into his eyes and he huffed, carefully shaking out his mane to move the strands out of his face, waiting for her response. |

I do belive for the sake of this RP, Whisp prefers that all characters be posted on the same post rather than separate. She has stated this in this forum to another player already.

Is it necessary that I put both my characters in each post, or can I stick to dealing with them seperately? I feel that seperate would be easier, and it makes more sense in my mind, but I'm chill if I have to do both in each post.

Stella/ Mare/Single/ M: Mouse Stella gratefully sinks into the soft grass. She lies down facing Mouse, careful to keep her distance, even though she is definitely warming up to this kind-hearted stallion. She absent-mindedly nibbles on some grass as she thinks of what to say. "Well, my name is Stella," she stops with a small chuckle, "but you already knew that." Why do I not know what I can and can't tell him, she thinks. I will start by telling him the truth, and see what my instincts tell me to do from there. She releases a small sight. "Well, I was born into the herd that I was last in. My father was the lead stallion, so I had more protection than some of the other foals." It's really easy to talk to him, she thinks to herself. "My father died in a fight when I was a yearling, so I was lucky enough to be considered old enough to spare when the new leader went around killing all of the young foals." Stella shudders at the memories. "My mother defended her foal, so she died, too." Stella fights off the tears, it was years ago, she has had time to mourn. "When I was about three years old, I found out I was pregnant with the lead stallion's foal. It made me mad, I didn't want to produce offspring for my father's killer. But the foal grew into a lively young colt, and I eventually grew grateful for him." Stop, why are you saying all this to a strange horse you just met? Stella was confused, but her mouth kept moving, and Mouse was a good listener, so she continued. "About four days ago, I was grazing with my yearling dancing around me, when his father suddenly perked up. I listened, but heard only a slight rustle from the bushes." I should have heard it too, I was foolishly distracted by my food, Stella mentally yells at herself. "The cougar jumped out and attacked me, but my muscular back legs were easily able to throw the lithe creature off. I ran after the rest of the herd, then heard screaming..." A single perfect tear rolls down to the tip of her muzzle. "The stallion stopped me... I couldn't.... I wasn't able to..." Stella struggles for words, not daring to look up to meet Mouse's gaze. |

Noda | Mare | Single | M: Storm, Rowan, Open Another set of cries coming from the opposite direction now halted the mare on her haunches. She spun her head around confused. Storm was now back in the direction of the beach. Had she somehow ran past and missed him? There were no time for questions now as she tossed her body around, heading straight for the sun and sand he craved so much. "Storm?" She called out again as her body began to heat from the excitement of the chase. Now that his direction had changed, so did the direction in which the wind was now against him, blowing his faint but welcomed scent right into the face of the mare. She let out a happy shrill as she followed quickly. Before she had even put her hooves in the sand, Noda knew that another was with Storm. It was a hazily familiar musk but the name of whom it belonged to, she did not know. She could only recall his rather rude actions as he zoomed past the blood bay and wounded black mare before. She walked briskly but quietly as she neared the beach and two stallions (Storm & Rowan). She knew that both would be expectinig her since she had alerted her friend that she was hot on the trail after catching his scent, so she didn't bother hiding. Instead she entered the beach with all the confidence she could muster, puffing out her muscular frame as she brushed against Storm's side. Her orange eyes locked on the grey stallion's strong frame without a word as she tried to assess the situation. Was this going to be a fight? She found herelf pondering. "What do you want?" She asked, tone coming out smooth and rich with a sass her firey red scorned coat conveyed. |

Cloud/ Stallion/ Single Cloud wakes up with a start, a piece of grass is tickling his nose, but that isn't what woke him up. He hears them, the humans, they're after him again. He quickly bites down and swallows a tasty mouthful of grass, he gets up to go drink from the nearby stream. After he is refreshed, he can hear them coming closer, riding on their poor, obedient, weak horses. I guess it's time to cause trouble, Cloud thinks to himself as he smiles and goes to hide in a large bush. He hears the sound of their ropes hitting the leather seats they ride. I'm not going down that easy, he tells himself, determination mixing with his desire to cause mischief. Suddenly, they are riding in right next to the bush he is hiding in. He bursts out of it, running top speed and jumping over one of the riders at the last possible moment. He charges, breaking free of the trees, into an open field. He throws his head back and whinnys as his mane and tail flow in the wind. He makes a sharp turn, so sudden that the other horses, wearing their heavy tack, are not able to follow. He jumps across a stream, throwing up a small cloud of dust on the other side. Cloud quickly takes cover behind a nearby tree and shrubs, out of the humans' line of sight. He hears them yelling out in their strange language, they turn around and start running back to their "town". Cloud smiles to himself as he happily starts trotting the shoreline he has stumbled upon. He doesn't know where he's going, nor does he care. He just wants to run with the wind blowing through his white mane, free as the wind itself. He splashes through the wet sand, leaving his hoof prints behind him. The tide will wash them away soon enough, he thinks. He splashes in the waves, and licks away the salt that collects on his muzzle. This is the life. |

As though it might sound like a better and more logic idea, if you and someone else are active and frequently mosting multiple characters with separate posts, it becomes easy for other RPers who are replying to different player's posts to get confused and loose posts. That is also why we prefer chats to also be posted with the post you are replying with your characters so EVERYHTING is in one single post. For an example, I just had to sift through multiple pages just to find the post I am replying to. It is just helpful in that way, ya know? :) It's nothing against it, it just helps when there are a lot of different people and different groups of characters with their own things going on.

@Woodland - Please read over the rules again, carefully. I totally am fine with you asking questions, but as stated in my rule that multi characters should be put in same post to keep cluttering of pages and confusion down, as well as responses to chat, so pages are not getting blow up by one word or one sentence chat responses.
@To anyone that is not aware: Description or Image of your character is required for each post, also stated in the rules. (You can link your horse to text fine) but, there still needs to be a image or list description present above your RP post, everyone else has to do it, I do it, so it's fair. I will ask you to leave if rules keep getting unfollowed. Please read over the rules again, for it seems some of you have not. I am trying to make sure forum stays fun for everyone. :)
