@someday, I live at home with my mom and are renters, but I think we deserve our deposit back when we move out. The previous renters didn't clean the carpets even though they were supposed to, left a bunch of junk in the garage, and we're three weeks late moving out.

I think the rental company is just trying to keep my entire deposit and padding the bill. I called the same company that did the cleaning and was quoted $50/hour for a move out deep clean of the same size house.

@PK, i've no doubt it is very hard work. I can understand the reason for having two people there as it helps keep the workers accountable. I am just surprised it cost that much.

Bird having cleaned houses once upon a time, we went in pairs for mostly safety reasons.

Bird, we were just charged $1,300 for a move out deep clean by the rental company we were leasing from. I have disputed it, because holy cow! I am in the wrong line of work if that is the price for cleaning a 3 bedroom house for 3 hours. I happen to know it took them 3 hours because I bought the house across the street and was home when they were there. I dont think the rental company realizes I could see the whole thing.

I can clean my house by myself in 2 1/2 hours, but these companies are saying it takes two people the same amount time.

@Angels, since you have both a big and small enclosure I don't think trying the bigger one would hurt since you can always put them back in the smaller one. Whereas when I had a reptile I didn't want to worry about buying a whole other enclosure.

Okay I may start getting more supplies for it then. I have had bad experiences with putting baby reptiles in too big of an enclosure and they can't find their food, then I have to downgrade them so they do well

I have an empty 20 gallon long tank and I am debating putting my baby leo in it. Right now he is in a platic bin cage that is about the size of a 10 gallon just not as tall. I am always worried about putting baby reptiles in too big of a cage. Online it says a baby is supposed to go in a 20 gallon but I don't know. thoughts?

I feel like all this will do is make it even harder to make my horses desirable for breeding/sale. It's already hard enough.

The generation and inbreeding mentality in wolfplay totally ruined that game for me. I really don't want that here too. Especially since it has no impact on the quality of foals. People will still act like it does regardless and it sucks.

edit: Paying to test would be helpful and maybe not even displaying it on the horse page at all. I also hope it would be VERY obvious to new players that it has zero effect on breeding. Having it there as a static could confuse people into thinking it matters in the game.

I understand the concerns about it. When a game has a stat for inbreeding it's very rarely ignored by the community, so there is a real threat in elitism. However, if this would just be optional to reveal, and separate from genetic testing, then everyone could choose to not reveal it in the first place. Also regarding stud/brood rules... If the straw hoarding issue is so hard to solve, what power would anyone have to enforce COI-related breeding rules to their horses?

I voted yes - as long as it has no affect on breeding of course -, simply because I personally am curious to see this, and because this could also give a nice challenge to people who would want to take COI into account when breeding.

Since this wouldn't affect the quality of horses in any way, and high quality + low generation/non-inbred horses are pretty hard to come by here (how many wild WWWs are there AND land high on LBs?), I don't think a COI stat behind a paywall (however low) would have as big an effect on HEE.

Support. A lot of us are constantly trying to analyze and improve our stock, and every little bit of extra data helps in those calculations

I second this. It would also be neat to see more clean lines. I detest inbreeding honestly. It seems most of the top lines are very inbred. Would like to see a better change for less inbred lines.

By blocking. There are folks that scrutinize their horses so much that they'll block if 'bad' foals aren't released fast enough. I really and truly see mare COI becoming yet another rule on stallions.

Yesterday when I saw the poll, I didn't vote but was definitely leaning toward it doesn't matter either way.
Then I matched some KNNs today and paired a father to his own daughter so I could breed for an apricot baby and realized, NO, I do not want this feature in the game. I actually LOVE that inbreeding isn't stressed about on HEE. I have played other games before where it was ridiculously focused on to the point of great annoyance. Line breeding happens in real life. Not to the level I just did, but dang, my foal came out a WEE apricot! And a SH not a KNN. He is an awesome foal anyway! And I don't think I want a 50% inbred sticker right on his page, advertising it to everyone that I had to inbreed to get his color. People can check the lines a themselves. It isn't hard to know. But I don't think the horses need to be branded with it.
The other reason I prefer not to have this added, is because I dont want to worry about when pairing horses. I breed for color and for strength, and lines are just not as important to me when breeding, so it would be really annoying to have to start checking every match way more carefully. I have hundreds of mares I breed each year. I prefer not to have to take that extra time or stress.
Just my two cents :-)
