"There's a lake nearby," she offered. "We could rent a lake house for a few days," |

Kai nodded as his phone buzzed. Father it read. Kai's eyes went wide as he denied the call and it began buzzing again. He denied it three more times before blocking the number |

"Just my father. Didn't answer because if I did, he'd track us and put you into danger. Don't worry about it, love. I've got it." He explaiend softly |
