"You really think so?"

Sage nodded with a shrug "we could use a break," he noted. "Go have fun somewhere for a day or two." They had some extra money, since the hospital bills would be paid a little bit each month.

Amira beamed at the thought

Sage grinned back at her. "We'll start looking for a sitter soon," he promised. "Let's get settled back in at home first though," he chuckled

Amira nodded, pecking his cheek

Sage just squeezed her gently, going back to sketching but holding her close
