@Sting, ah makes sense. You said they are called honey eaters? I have heard of bee eaters. Saw them at the Bronx zoo once!

You are right. I always grew up with them being called hummingbirds. but a quick google tells me ours are different to yours.
Still nectar lovers, but not as much 'humming' activity

@Sting, you live in Australia right? If so I am positive there aren't hummingbirds there. Sorry.

Bird it would make sense, a lot of read dye in our food has been known to cause problems in the body.
I may not be 100% right, I believe Cancers and urinary problems.
I was all ways to avoid red dye in food and drinks growing up because of an over active bladder.

we have them here too. Also bee-eaters.

@Sting, yeah hummingbirds are only found in North and South America.

@Sunni, I haven't done research, but I have heard similar things about red dye. They don't need it to be attracted to the feeder.
Narran Park
09:23:55 Sting
I need to look into it.
I dont think feeding hummingbirds is much of a thing here in Australia.

It should be though!

Bird she was running around filling all the feeders during the conversation.
She has about 6 of them.
She makes the sugar water herself.
She says the red dye in it is bad for them.

Talking about hummingbirds for an hour sounds like something someone who is on the spectrum might do. I can be guilty of steering the topic away to something that interests me.

I'd definitely say you could be in low tier 1 :) The hair in piece 1 and 3 is amazing <3

The only thing I notice that stands out to me is that your shadow placement is off. In the first piece the shadow should be more behind/to the right of the horse instead of straight on to the viewer because the light source is to the left of the horse. In your second piece (the lavender one) the shadow should be underneath the horse as I don't see a clear light source in the background. If you'd like I can draw a quick thing on the first one to show you how I find out where to place my shadows.

Definitely agree with T1. It looks like you repaint your horses entirely for prep instead of smudging, so I'd start at 150k for a horse avatar and go from there.

I would personally pay 80-120k for your art if you can keep the quality of the first 3 examples. Also try adding more detail by defining muscles with light/dark lines. Hope this helps, love your work!

I repaint the whole horse depending if I like the face or not lol.
I would love shadow advice - I can never place them right I think I just don't understand light xD

I personally would say high T2. I love the feel of them! But as stated above, the shadowing feels off for me. I like the lighting on the horse, some soft shadows would define them even more (if you haven't already). Along side the lack of definition in the body with muscles etc etc. but that's easily fixable with a chalk pen + a soft light layer (one for light another for shadows). I think if you could work on those two (happy to help where I can) you definitely would be T1 without a doubt :)

Really interested for critique and thought on this:

Based on this forum I tried to focus on muscling through the body. I hope I've improved a bit.
