West nodded in response. The mares had started coming over, different expressions on their faces. Curiosity. Slight fear. Hostility, one. But mostly interest. 6 mares in all, though one hung back (Panther- that can be your mare). +++ The first was a palomino mare with a slight white mane and tail. She trotted up happily, looking kind. "Hi! What's your name? I'm Cloud. Are you joining the herd? West and Cosmo are amazing protectors and they're both really nice." She chirped. +++ The second was a dark grey grullo mare with dark brown eyes. She seemed a little more wary. "Welcome to the herd. I'm Storm." +++ The third, a slightly haughty golden buckskin with a burnished pelt of gold and ebony black mane and tail. "You can call me Trix." +++ The fourth was a pure white mare with a pink muzzle and one blue eye. She seemed daintier and quieter. "I'm Stream." +++ The fifth, the last one to come up, had a light grey pelt with black dapples across her rump only, more like appy markings. "And I'm Navy." |

((sarcastic) yay!) cosmo nodded as west spoke before turning and walking to the herd "come on" he said before almost running into a flea bittin grey mare "oh sorry dawn" he said looking away from he half glare dawn tossed her head at cosmo before walking up to the new mare "hello im dawn looks like im not the smallest any more" she said with a amused snort at cosmo before backing away as a golden bay sooty filly shoved through she troted through happly "hello! my names joy!! i just turned 1! any ways whats your name!! oooh your soooooooo pretty!!!!!!" she said happly and sorta fast her fluffy tail ficked with every other word then she bounced as her brother gave her a shove he shoved joy as she was yelling "sorry for my sister " the black colt said dipping his head as a sorry "my names royal " he said before lifting his head up as there mum walked through the seal brown mare chuckled at her foals "hello who might you be" she said as her foals smushed to her side "my names forrest sorry for the twins" she said flicking an ear at them |

Dreams face filled with uncertainty. 'Hi... everyone. I'm Dreamer, but please call me Dreams. I recently escaped bad humans and found my way here.' Now dreams felt very self-conscious about her scars and the halter still on her small face. She gave Dawn and Trix long, challenging looks, then swung her gaze to the filly Joy. 'Your coat is so pretty, little one! I love your courage.' she smiled at the filly's mother. 'They're beautiful.' She said lightly. Upon gazing over the colt and the filly again, sadness filled her heart. 'I lost a foal myself a long time ago.' She shook it off. 'Stream, I love your eye. It's beautiful.' She smiled at the rest of the herd, realizing suddenly there were only two stallions. 'Only West and Cosmo?'

(ooh yeps ill add him) ___forrest "thank you and sorry for your loss" she said dipping her head down slightly ___joy she lifted her head ears perked with a big smile on her face "thank you!!" she said with a little bounce the stallion walked up to forrest giving her a nuge the turing to the new mare "hello im hawk what brings you here" the bridle stallion asked dreams his ears perked twoards her __cosmo cosmo looked at hawk as he walked through "good day" he said respect in his voice for the older horse |

She smiled lightly. 'It's nice to meet you all, and thank you for welcoming me into your herd.' She let her gaze travel to West accidentally. -did he notice?- she wondered. 'I think I might take a nap... it's been a long journey.' She smiled at each herd member and turned away to walk a little while away from the herd. Dreams plopped her exhausted body down in the soft grass and fell into a light sleep. |

cosmo nodded to the horses before walking over to a tree and standing under it with a snort he walked over to dreams and poked her with his nose when she woke up he pulled off her halter and tossed it away "there you can sleep now" he said before walking back to the tree |

She smiled a huge smiled and heaved herself up off the ground. Slowly she walked over to Cosmo and nuzzled his shoulder thankfully. 'I appreciate you, Cosmo.' She nuzzled him one more time and returned to her sleeping spot. |
