Meeka is a bit of an odd duck, but she's one of the best dogs I've ever known. Of course she thinks she's a lap dog during storms and the 4th of July.

Aw! Lucky and I go out in storms together and run, it's awesome. We both love that weather for some reason lol. I think all huskies are a little bit odd, but heck so are we!

Also I'm teaching lucky to hold things in his mouth, so I'll update with how that's going. He's not a fan of 'tricks' (like spin or sit pretty, etc) but he knows a bunch of useful things for me, like untangling his own self from the leash, offering support on his shoulders, etc

And I also was thinking about how most people would find the things lucky has learned absolutely useless, but for me he's perfect. He's voice trained and leash trained, which is perfect because sometimes my fingers hurt to much to hold the leash and move him about. And he also knows leash length commands so if you let him on loose leash he roams about because that's what I let him do, but if I combine it with a voice command then he knows to keep moving but on loose leash

So when someone else walks him they're like what the fuck 😂

Lucky is almost 5 now

I was thinking about when I was going through one of the worst times of my life a couple years ago and was quite closer to ending it all

And lucky was the only one keeping me going

I would take him out for hours at all random times of day and night and put on my old jacket and we would run, and I had this place out on this outcropping of rocks and we would sit together

He's saved me in more ways than one <3

He's gaining weight, slowly though

He's on homemade food and I've been talking with our vet, don't worry ^^

Ive been property hunting Im moving to a more rural place this year and anyways Luckys been going with me obviously and we stopped for lunch and he was super good <3333

Navigating traffic/LOTS of pedestrians like a pro, ignoring other dogs (some aggressive), super good in businesses...
