I have recently read an article that kind of doubts flexion tests in pre purchase vet exams.

I've seen this article and I do agree. Flexions are super subjective- one vet could flex harder than another, the horse could flex sound but have a leg full of chips, etc. etc. A lot of people do use them as a basis for soundness though, but I think this is a practice that is going to fade away as time goes on.

I think that an x Ray is far more honest(couldnt find the right word) than a flexion test. The flexion test seems so, not really abusive, but kind of abusive. Youre showing a horse that isnt lame, as lame. Or a horse that is lame, as fine.
