so i have 2 horses-
Fam-Fam, an 11 y/o lusitano gelding, can be quite hot and spooky, but generally quite the angel.
Pombalinha, 11 y/o mixed breed mare, very cheeky and has a lot of energy and fun packed in her.unridden companion
i ride Fam-fam 2-3 times a week, either for treks or for work in the arena. i need to find a supplement that is high in vitamins, minerals ect. but that will not give them too much energy, as they are currently stabled. just something good, healthy and conditioning. any ideas post below, thanks!

I'm not sure if you're feeding pellets or not, but if you're working your horses particularly I think my feeding regime will apply to you.

I feed DuMor Calm and Steady (no particular measurement. Depending on how hard he worked or how hard he's being worked that week he'll get more or less. On a normal day he gets just enough to fill the bottom of his bowl.) I also feed HorseGuard. It's a wonderful Selenium supplement all of my horses have been on. I also give DuMor FlexMor as my previous horse had arthritis and it worked wonders on him. I now have a cowhocked Arabian and use as just a preventative to keep his joints working well.

These supplements and feed are always at night after his workout alongside a few flakes of orchard hay and alfalfa mix.

I hope this kind of gives you a few ideas of what you can do! ^^

Not sure what you're feeding already but I highly recommend adding Linseed oil to your feed. Helps for maintaining weight and coat health.

Red cell is a great vitamin supplement. Just add a couple ounces to their feed and that's it. They love it. A few years ago, we were adding it to an elderly TB mare's grain and she looked/acted fantastic until the day she died. Made it to 31 and was still picture perfect. I've also given it to goats and cattle if they're looking a little down and perks them right up.

Oh I forgot to add! Coconut oil is really good for maintaining their coat and weight too. You can also add to dry hooves as well to add a bit of moisture. You could also feed a little bit of sunflower seeds with their daily mix. It's just an extra protein additive and helps maintain healthy coats as well. ^^

Vitamin E for any horse without access to fresh grass. For it to be most effective be sure to use a non-synthetic Vit E in powdered form. If there was ever a single most important vitamin, this would be it.
Magnesium for hot/spooky horses. Magnesium Oxide is the most practical and cost effective form.
For hoof health important minerals to look for are copper and zinc. AVOID IRON as it inhibits the absorption of more beneficial minerals, and most horses have enough iron from their forage. CA Trace is a good product.
There are a lot of products out there that will waste your money without being of much benefit to your horses. Look at the amount of each ingredient listed in a product before you buy.
