"Hey," She greeted, eyes smiling while her face remained neutral. "How'd you sleep?" Emery asked, setting her phone aside. |

"Pretty good," he replied casually. It was kind of as if they hadn't been sleeping in the same room. |

"Well that's good," She replied softly, staying quiet for a moment as she sat up, getting out of bed. Emery asked the same question she did each morning, "Do you want me to make you breakfast?" she asked him. |

"Alright," Emery answered, heading to go let Rocky out as he sprinted over to her and jumped up onto her. |
