Elara watched, noting Varys's arrival, the black wolf hulking into the cabin.

|
Sage grinned when the wolf wandered in, glad the animal felt at home with them. Soon enough though, the roof was done. It had taken most of the day....and he probably should have taken a few breaks to eat, but he wanted it all done. But the roof was solid now, and that was the biggest thing that needed to get done. So he felt accomplished.

Elara was outside when Sage finished, starting up a fire. She had dug a pit and made a fire inside, hence the spot to become the fire pit.

Sage had climbed down and moved to plop at the fire wearily. "Roof should hold up now," he noted, moving to lay on his back on the ground and lace his fingers over his stomach, looking at her. "We can set the inside of the cabin up tomorrow," he added lightly.

Varys bolted out of the woods and too Sage, bounding towards him. He hopped over the man, settling beside him. Elara smiled at the sight, and at Sage's words. "That's nice, have some decent shelter."

|
Sage nodded in response to her comment with a hum. He grinned and reached over to pet Varys when the wolf ran over, more than happy to see him. I'm gonna eat quick and head to bed," he noted after a moment or so, sitting up with a sigh. He really was tired. (What if Liz's mom shows up or smthn? Add some drama in here lol)

(ooh yes!) "Alright, you can take the bed if you want, doubt i'll sleep for longer then a hour." SHe said, voice carrying softly over the crackling of the fire. Elara warmed her hands by it, the cool night air sending a chill.

|
(alr! I'll have her show up the next day!) Sage threw her a grateful glance as he ate, nodding. "That ...would be nice," he admitted, setting his empty plate down and standing, rubbing his hand on his now sore neck. "Thanks," he added before wandering into the cabin and checking on Liz before flopping down and almost immediately passing out

|
Elara just smiled at him, watching as he walked off. "Go on ahead, you deserve it after all the work." She noted, taking his plate and adding it to the pile. Varys came and curled up next to her, adding for more warmth around the woman.

Sage had nodded in response to her comment, paying out right away once he settled into the bed. He didn't want until later the next morning, stirring with a sort of groan as he half woke up.
