Noah curled into her. He loved her so much. He had his friends, and Henry was one of his best friends, but no one, not even Hen. |

Emery just held Noah close and rubbed his back, pressing a light kiss to his cheek. She was.....concerned, yeah, that's the word, for some of his past and she hoped she could keep it from affecting him too much but, was she even helping him?

Noah started to nod off in her arms. He was still pretty upset about Valentines Day. He'd put so much effort into it and she couldn't even be bothered to spare him 10 minutes. But Valentines Day had never been very good for him. His first girlfriend broke up with him a week before Valentines Day, while he was shopping for her gift, and his other ex boyfriend, before Henry, that was a whole situation too. Noah had gotten him flowers and gifts, but when he presented him with them, he acted as though he'd never met Noah. Turned out he'd never told his friends he was gay, telling Noah it was weird. And Henry knew all of this, so when they were together Henry and Noah didn't celebrate Valentines Day. Now that Noah had Em, who didn't know about all that past history, he'd wanted to celebrate with her, do something nice and romantic, but apparently she didn't have enough time. |

Emery didn't know much of his past, only what he had vented.She'd felt like shit the past days from the studying, tests, and felt like a dump for not even spending any time with Noah on Valentine's Day.Her phone dinged, her hand reaching over and picking it up. - Please don't be Hunter please don't be Hunter - She thought, hoping he'd have listened to her about them being broken up.....awhile ago. It was a text from Max, her step brother. Hey, was wondering if you wanted to grab something to eat maybe sure, sounds nice. |

The next morning, he had classes super early, so he slipped out of bed, making sure not to wake her. He left her a note, telling her he had classes and he loved her, before slipping out and heading to class. |

She woke up groggily and saw his note, smiling softly at the writing saying he loved her before setting it back and drifting off again. |

Noah went to class, bumping into Henry on the way, turns out, he was in Noah's class too. So they went off to class together, talking happily. |
