| I set up some jumps in a pasture to practice over, and my trainer was letting us do that for our lesson cause of the heat, but im the only one that actually rides in pastures. Someone else in my lesson was like really struggling to get their horse to canter over some rougher terrain, and i had already done it so i let my horse walk cause like its hot, and my trainer wound up getting mad at ME for not letting her horse follow mine and "making it harder" by... walking on the other end of the field. And she made me do push ups for THAT and i was mad Also like... she had spurs and a whip tell her to get her own horse down a fucking hill please |

| Someone needs to design a collar that helps to cool outdoor cats off. Like the ones humans have as a scarf while working outdoors. Only kitty sized. |

| Oh tea? Yeah Versa, he's pretty outgoing but not *that* cool 😂 He's actually pretty happy to be inside right now, usually he's an absolute menace when he's grounded but right now he's very sweet so I think he appreciates no more outside time |

| I actually almost walked out of the lesson cause my trainer was pissing me off but I persevered lmao Versa Yeah, normally I just take one or two of them out with me while i hang out out there but no one wants to go with me now |

| My cats go outside, and are back in the house between 9 and 10 in the morning, and they get a half hour of outdoor time late in the evening before it gets dark |

| Puck, Cats also naturally run a couple of degrees hotter than humans, so indoors is definitely best for now. Unless he likes water and will play in a sprinkler lol |

| Yeah, my cat is officially stuck indoors until it gets cooler out. He's usually good about coming when called when he's outside, but because of the heat he's been shoving himself under my truck in the shade and panting and refusing to get close enough for me to grab because he's too hot so. Indoors it is 🙃 |

| I haven't done outdoor time for my parrots at all this month. I just open the window next to their cage to let them sunbathe. Seems safer with the 90-100 degree weather |

| oh god puck. That's terrifying, i dont blame you. I made my trainer reschedule tuesdays lesson because i thought i was gonna die teaching a walk trot lesson, so we did it yesterday when it was like 10 degrees cooler, and i still thought i was gonna pass out. And my horse was like the hottest ive ever felt him, without doing that much. |
