Bird it would make sense, a lot of read dye in our food has been known to cause problems in the body.
I may not be 100% right, I believe Cancers and urinary problems.
I was all ways to avoid red dye in food and drinks growing up because of an over active bladder.

@Sting, yeah hummingbirds are only found in North and South America.

@Sunni, I haven't done research, but I have heard similar things about red dye. They don't need it to be attracted to the feeder.

I need to look into it.
I dont think feeding hummingbirds is much of a thing here in Australia.

It should be though!

Bird she was running around filling all the feeders during the conversation.
She has about 6 of them.
She makes the sugar water herself.
She says the red dye in it is bad for them.

Talking about hummingbirds for an hour sounds like something someone who is on the spectrum might do. I can be guilty of steering the topic away to something that interests me.

It took her ages to tell me the doctor tried diagnosing me with autism as a kid. She wasn't happy about that answer and told them "nope she isn't."

Yeah no, don't ask XD
Comments are welcome

Golden eyes gleamed from the darkness as someone watched from the shadows, scanning for any of the remaining people for danger. Not many were left since things started happening, the virus seemed to be everywhere since it had spread and only few regulars remained. With a sigh he put his bow and arrow back, his cat tail twitched with curiosity. About to turn around he stopped midway when a scream pierced through the air. Whipping back around the shadowed figure quickly scanned the area, finally spotting one of the shadowy creatures lurking towards on of the few regulars in this area. With a low wolf like growl, he jumped down, drawing his bow and arrow during the fall. The creature hesitated when they landed, a loud thud being made as their boots met contact with the ground. Drawing his bow, Light surrounded his arrow as he took a step towards it, saying two words. “Back off.” He spat, narrowing his eyes as he stood between the two. The thing didn’t retreat so he finally fired his arrow, the bright light piercing the shadow creature as it yowled and rushed away. The regular had said nothing as they sat on the ground a bit dazed. The boy reluctantly turned around and looked at them, the only thing that could be seen was his glowing golden eyes, the rest of him hidden by a bandanna and hood. “W-Who are you?” They asked, looking at him. Looking at them he hesitated before finally answering. “To put it simply, most would call us the devil, a curse, a mistake or monster. Perhaps even the Bad Guy in this tale. But to very few like you, some would call or refer to the few like me their Savior.” He said, taking a small bow before taking a running start and leaping up onto the roof of a building and disappearing
Would anyone be interested if I continued writing this?

Krowfus couldn't remember the last time he had attempted to go into one of the few secret markets that were still intact and filled with people both buying and selling numerous goods. There were obvious reasons he stopped going out ever since some people had screamed and called him a monster, throwing swords, knives, heck, even plants at him because of his weird appearance and all Saviors reputations. But he had gotten better, smarter, and better hidden as more and more people had become a creature like himself. With animal eyes and a matching tail, sometimes ears. Not to mention their strong, durable weapons of light each carried with them all the time. A young girl had come up to him and he gave a nervous sweat as she squinted her eyes, then walked away somewhere. Krowfus couldn't tell if he was sweating from how nervous he was with the girl or because of all the stuff he was wearing. With a dark colored jacket, his hood up, and a bandanna covering his mouth he was surprised heatstroke hadn't hit him hard yet. With a small sigh, he gave a gulp before stepping into the heart of the market, the moonlit area was small and very crowded but thanks to his cat-like eyes and ears he was easily able to avoid any conflict with grouchy or suspicious strangers. "First stop, uhhhhh, oh." Krowfus gave a small glance at his list before quickly looking up with his pretty cyan cat-eyes, spotting the food stand that was towards the east of where he was originally. "Hey." Krowfus spoke to the person behind the smooth quartz stand, getting him by surprise as he seemed to be busy toying with something. Looking up, he greeted him with a smile. Things turned out as usual and expected when you go shopping at Black Cloak Market, unusually high prices and a bunch of bargaining, with the occasional person getting thrown out of the market for saying something incredibly rude to the other. It took a while, but finally Krowfus was able to strike a reasonable deal with the person and waved goodbye, going over to the magic stands next and browsing. Though to others they thought he looked like he was just glancing, the raven haired male couldn't get his thoughts out of the thing the food market owner was holding, it was a small dark orb with an unusual dark glow around it but wasn't able to get a good look nor determine what it really was, the most of it covered in a small velvet cloth in his hand. For now, he would go against everything his brother taught him and ignore it, busy trying to find one particular item. That was, until a chorus of screams erupted from his left. Krowfus instantly whipped over to the right, just barely avoiding an arrow of night that almost struck him and hopping up onto a rooftop to get a better view of the situation he was currently in. "Gah, you gotta be kidding me!" Krowfus whined, not pleased in the slightest at the shadow creature he saw causing havoc amongst the crowd. Holding his hand out in front of him, some golden dust gathered near the palm of his hand and made the shape of Krofus's weapon of choice, a scythe. With a simple flick of his wrist the dust disappeared and in its place was his silver blades scythe with the top of a creatures skull capping the top edge of his weapon. Krowfus waited, then spun it in his hands before leaping downwards, making a small forward flip before standing right between it and several civilians. "Let's dance."
Good so far? Not sure if I should keep writing more
