You are right. I always grew up with them being called hummingbirds. but a quick google tells me ours are different to yours.
Still nectar lovers, but not as much 'humming' activity

Bird it would make sense, a lot of read dye in our food has been known to cause problems in the body.
I may not be 100% right, I believe Cancers and urinary problems.
I was all ways to avoid red dye in food and drinks growing up because of an over active bladder.

@Sunni, I haven't done research, but I have heard similar things about red dye. They don't need it to be attracted to the feeder.

I dont think feeding hummingbirds is much of a thing here in Australia.

Bird she was running around filling all the feeders during the conversation.
She has about 6 of them.
She makes the sugar water herself.
She says the red dye in it is bad for them.

As of today, I have made the decision to help manage a club dedicated to AAs as the previous owner is in need of someone. I will be transferring my art club over to a stable called Heartsong Acres: the account is me. :)

Nothing will be changing within my art club. The discounts will stay the same, dues will stay at 0: the only thing changing is the stable which holds it.

Please DON'T pay Heartsong Acres for artwork I have made for you (still send it to 232733), and please still credit Versailles (232733) for any artwork you feature. <3 Part of my reason for transferring it to a side account is for easier organization and management of the club, as my game inbox here is often spammed with breeding notifications (amongst other things).

In the future, Heartsong Acres' name will be changed to Versailles Studios to better match the club and easier recognition. :)

And some good news for you all... I should be getting a new art piece up within another couple of days, and hopefully getting back on track! <3 Things are starting to sort out and look better.
