depends on breed, gem
as someone who breeds color ISH, i usually ask ~5k for EWE combo colts but my EWE combo fillies can usually fetch around ~15k, i price them lower if they have sabino because i see it as undesirable but i dont know what the general consensus is on that

That goes in sales chat :)

15k is a little much for a colt, but about half what the filly should be

Is 15000$ a good asking price for EWE colts and filly’s?
Galloping_Gems

Oh! Maybe

I'm thinking it's something to do with the heat maybe but at the same time this wasn't a thing last summer but it was hotter

I kind of do! Right now, I still have to use a bridle, but that's because I'm using one of my newer mares that's not fully leg trained. The goal is to have her bridle-less by the end of the year. :)
If you have any questions, feel free to pm me!

I ride bareback like this as well, she is and older mare and never learned leg yielding? I don't know why and the owner don't either. If you have questions let me know :D

I'm not just ridding bare back, I'm using a neck rope but still have a bridle with the reins tied at the top of my mare's neck as an emergency break. The last time I tried riding her in just a neck rope I fell into a water trough lol

Free riding takes a year or even more of consistent work since you have absolutely no tack. Your horse must work off your leg and seat nearly perfect to do this well. And you must must must be a good, strong rider to not ruin a horses back.

I've done freeriding once on a lunge lead during my first summer of riding.
