thing with mine is i somehow got it to work once, moved a pasture to it, but now i cant delete it because its not empty. i cant empty it because i cant get it to work again- it was a miracle that it worked at all to begin with. now clicking and dragging anywhere within a compound or on a pasture/barn just drags the while compound smh

I've never tried to make compounds before and seemingly I won't in the future either. Deleted that pastureland again if I cannot put a pasture in there. Shame, because I really liked that picture.

I just tried to build a pastureland for my memorial garden, that worked, but when I tried to actually drag my memorial garden in there it did not work, it only switches all pastures up and down and the memorial one stays empty. Is there any trick to that on how to 'de-anchor' the memorial from the other pastures?

Awesome!

I did a quick forum search for "Member Show" and "Arena" to see if I could find you any more information.

Unfortunately, the most relevant to your questions is:
-HEE Click-

But it's a year old.

Some interesting bits were about players asking how to participate in member shows with some quick tips on what horses to pick for the most profit.

- if you get your arena up and running, you're welcome to message me and I'll send a couple entries your way

Hi,

1. Yes. According to the Game Guide under Member Shows and Arenas - Only those horses entered who are in the top percentile come away with prize money, which is directly related to the entry fee.
2. I believe so (I don't have an arena).
It's important to note the best case scenario is to have all classes with the maximum entries to get the best return.
There's a happy medium of the entry fee to the number of participants.

Personally, I like to enter with fees below 10k and above 200 ebs.

Check out the member shows to see what others are doing. Click through the shows and see how many entrants in each class, their fee, and how often they run (every three days or weekly, or club based).

Some days there are a ton of Cross Country shows and other days there aren't any.

Heyy!
Hope everyone is well... I have 2 questions
1. Do the member shows that have higher entry fees have higher prizes?
2. If I make the entry fee higher for a member show (I own an arena), will I get more money?

The Appilichians are a tribe of Fae that have found you can bond with dragons. For thousands of years they made a connection with the great beasts, winning battles and conquering land until peace reigned over all. Life florished and dragons hatched; all was just right... until that fateful day.

Plot

For hundreds upon thousands of years Fae's and Dragons got along peacefully as bonded pairs, until the one day they didn't.

On that fateful day when the dragon eggs were supposed to hatch, all of the mixed breed eggs died. Every year after that the Fae's got less and less eggs until only the purebloods remained. They realized it was all a plot... someone was killing the halfblood baby dragons. Someone will have to take charge and stop this, before it is too late.

Rules

Please follow all HEE roleplaying rules; now would be a good time to read them!

Images MUST be properly credited.

If you do not post a sheet within 3 days of your reservation I will open up that slot.

Halfblood dragons are a thing, but they must not be power playing. They should have an equal number of strengths and weaknesses.

Out of character drama is not accepted; if you have an issue, don't clutter the discussion.

Max 4 characters per person- you may not have 4 dragons, and you may not have 4 fae. Please even it out.

In your sign up sheets please have at least a 5 sentence paragraph in your appearance and personality, or 10+ bullet points. We want to know about your character, so no 2 sentence things.

Read everything that has to do with your character- it is there for a reason!

Bonds have to be the same age as each other, so if you have a planned bond, communicate with them to get the same age.

If you do NOT get a bond for your character one will be assigned, just PM me.

Have fun!

(Please remember the rules are subject to change, which I will do if I deem neccesary)

Information

About Dragons

Note: The most important thing to take away from this section is that, while dragons may display multiple abilities from the various species they have in their bloodline, they will only be strong in one dominant class’s abilities (the species from which most of their lineage comes). Only pureblooded dragons will have the full power of their given species, and they will carry no abilities from any of the other types.

Dragons are mythical beasts that vary greatly in appearance. While the smallest, when on all fours, may only reach about 5 feet, the largest may hit a towering 15-20 feet at the shoulder. While many may fit the varied “reptilian” descriptions, there is no end to what features they carry. All dragons are capable of crossbreeding, and they have been for thousands of years; however, there are five ancient, founding species, and they are classified as follows:

Firisus are fire and storm dragons. Pure dragons of this species are metallic in coloration and are generally grayscale or warm colors. Firisus are capable of manipulating weather and fire, impermeable to flame or electricity, and will breathe fire or shoot out sparks. They generally have more volatile, unpredictable personalities, and there are very few dragons that can rival a Firisus’s fierceness in battle or protectiveness over what they see as theirs. They make excellent warriors, sentinels, and generals.

Walitons are ice, water, and air dragons. Pureblood Walitons are always a shade of blue, some coming close to white or black. They have dominion over the water element in all its forms and are impervious to cold. Some don’t even need to breathe and can survive in low oxygen spaces, though this is mainly the dragons that make their homes in deep water or high atmosphere. They are calmer than most others, more go-with-the-flow, but they are not to be underestimated. Their reserved and aloof nature can hide an amicable dragon or a vicious one. Despite being hard to read themselves, they are very intuitive and cunning, making them prime candidates for leadership, diplomat, or merchant positions.

Devilions are those classified as shifters and poison or venomous dragons. They seem to change color, appear camouflaged, or have the sheen of oil on water. Some may change size or shape, mimicking other species of dragon, though they cannot take on extra abilities. Devilions can change the effects of their poisons or venoms. They are immune to being poisoned themselves. These dragons generally prefer solitude and are not the most social creatures, but they excel at deception and can easily adopt personality traits that are not natural to them. These dragons are often chosen for guards, assassins, and information scouts.

Shroliners are dragons who have a grasp of the celestial: light and dark, dream and psyche. Black, white, and purples are their main colors, though golden or silver tones are also normal. These dragons manipulate shadows, thoughts, emotions, and dreams. Pure Shroliners are extremely rare and, for a time, were thought to be extinct. Their personalities are complex and dangerous, and, if someone has wronged them, are extremely vindictive. They are charismatic and adept at speaking. These dragons have snagged many a leadership position and are often the main heroes and villains in history books.

The Trikens are forest and earth dragons, and those of the deep places beneath the world. They are earthy tones, but they may also carry markings of any color. Those who live aboveground or right beneath it can manipulate flora and fauna, while those who live in the darkest, hardest places have impeccable seismic senses and command the strongest stone. They all have some level of command over the earthy things, willing the dirt and minerals themselves to bend to their will. Trikens, especially those who live among solid stone, are unrivaled in toughness and brute force. Even a weak Triken can walk through the thickest wall as though it were a sandcastle. These dragons are frank, blunt, honest, and mature; they have slow tempers and can analyze both the big picture and the littlest detail. Trikens are the crafters, traders, architects, builders, and judiciaries of the world.

Now, pureblooded dragons of any species are few and far between, as the vast majority of dragons have mated outside any given class for generations. While the typical dragon will have a high percentage of one species in its bloodline, there are usually strains of each within them. The species that make up the majority of their line is the one whose abilities they will be most in tune with, though they may display abilities from any class within their lineage.

Dragons hatch small, only a foot or two tall. However, they grow quickly, and their growth will begin to slow once they hit 160-200 years of age. A fully mature dragon will no longer grow after 250.

+++

About Hatching, Fae, and Bonds

All dragons come from eggs. Eggs are placed in a communal cave, well protected with perfect incubation conditions and no threats. The hatchery is a vast network of caves, capable of hosting thousands of egglings at any given time. They incubate for a year – eggs are always laid on the first day of the year and always hatch on the first day of the next year. If they do not hatch by midnight, the egglings die.

Fae are humans, but they are bonded to a dragon. They are also always born on the first day of the year, and they do not need to meet their hatchling dragon to form the bond. It is formed at midnight regardless of anyone’s attempts at intervention. These children age with their dragons; each year of development for a regular human takes 10 for these children. For example, a fifty-year-old Fae looks and acts like a five-year-old unbonded human. They are often given to special homes or go to live with older Fae, as their parents usually die by the time they are toddlers.

Dragons and their Fae find each other when they are anywhere from 150-300 years old, though it is rare to still have not found each other after 200. One may die before the other, but each generally lives to be 10,000 years old, give or take a few.

Bonds allow telepathic communication between dragon and Fae, and the Fae basically becomes their dragon in terms of abilities (though Fae will not be able to breathe fire/ice/etc.). If one dies, the other will not have decreased abilities, but they often become shells of their former selves.

Roles

For now only Fae's and Dragons will be playable characters.

+++

The Appachians: The oldest bonded pair. They are the monarchs of the Bonded, keepers of the nests, and protectors of the Young. They oversee the training and upbringing of all young Bonded. For this RP, the current Pendraegon is the cause of the eggling deaths, and they are indeed targeting dragons with "impure" blood. The dragon in the bond is probably pureblooded.

The Suppachians: The second oldest bonded pair. They will take over when the Appachians die, though until then, they train the Young, enforce order in the Tribe, and prepare to take up the mantle of their predecessors. They do not need to know or support the actions of the current Appachians.

The High Guard: These are three bonded pairs that protect the nesting grounds, Appachians, Suppachians, and their families. They are elite warriors - the best of the best. They do not need to know or support the actions of the current Appalachians, but it is likely that at least one pair will.

The Tribe Members: Regular Bonded members. Some will know of and support the Appachian's actions. Most will not.

The Young: The Young are those in training to harness their skills and are usually between the ages of 150 and 300. They age into the Tribe when they have gained a satisfactory hold of their abilities. Right now, there are a maximum of only four Young bonded pairs, all the dragons of which will be pureblooded.

Name: Zion's Royal Call "Zion"

Age: 583 years

Gender: Male/Masculine

Species: Dragon

Sub-Species: Pureblood Shroliner

Rank: High Guard

Appearance: Zion is a colossal dragon, 23 feet tall at the shoulders, with pitch-black scales and some silver stripes. He has a gaping maw with razor-sharp white teeth and claws like daggers. His giant form is riddled with long spikes, and everything looks like a death trap on him. A stern expression stays across his face, his eyes glinting dangerously with unknown desires. (https://www.deviantart.com/sandara/gallery)

*Mod Edit- Art removed due to not being stock and copyrighted*

Personality: Zion is a dark, dangerous, formidable foe with a deep expression and a look that could kill. From his perfect poker face to his long claws, he is a warrior through and through. No one can tell his secrets, and he has plenty of them. He can change quickly to be charming and calm in front of an audience, but that is a complete mask for his cold demeanor.

Strengths:

- Great warrior

- Hard to tell emotions

- Extremely strong

- Slow temper

Weaknesses:

- A bit physically slow at times

- To take revenge he can get angry

- He will bite before question

Affiliations: None known

Name: Devil's Little Blaze "Diablo"

Age: 273 years

Gender: Male

Species: Dragon

Sub-Species: Purebred Devilion

*Mod Edit-Art removed due to not being stock and copyrighted*

Personality: Diablo is a shifty creature with a cunning attitude and a toothy grin. He is an amazing trickster and is the type of dragon to tell you the glass is half empty then take it when you aren't looking. He is a great big tease, sometimes rude, and always insulting and joking around with anyone he meets. Inside however, Diablo can be cruel and calculating, using his outside demeanor to get to dragons before snapping his jaws of death down on their souls.

Strengths:

- Hiding his true emotions

- Getting into dragon's heads

Weaknesses:

- Quick temper

- Not as strong as bigger dragons

- Doesn't use his smarts sometimes
