I have noticed that each stable is assigned to a region. Mine is in the east. Others are in the west, south, or north. What is a region? Am I able to change my region?

Every stable is randomly given a region when you sign up. They are mostly used for stable awards (check under Leaders > General to find leaderboards separated by region) and for sitewide games that occur throughout the year. (i.e The summer water balloon fight, where the regions compete against each other.) Let me know if you have any more questions about it :)
