There was a petition to allow to mark horses (like activate something) so that this horse is "locked" and cannot be sold, FR or put up for breeding. You have to unlock, do what you want, and can re-lock to be safe this horse doesn't get into the mix when you mass-FR, mass-sell or something.

If it's horse art, download the image, go to the horse's page, click manage horse > change horse image. then browse your files and find the image you want to use. :)
