[Chloe walked over to meet face to face with the other girl. "Being kind won't come back in the end, trust me." Chloe began walking off with her pant legs and shoes soaked from the shallow river. She held her bag of glass shards close.]

"I dont get why your so rude."Raven said to her then looked away

[Chloe paused, "Listen, I used to be nice but nothing comes from being nice. You just become a push over." Her voice was quiet yet stern. She didn't look in the girl's direction keeping her gaze forward.]

"And you get nowhere being a jerk." Raven said to her

[Chloe whipped around. "At least I'm not some teachers pet being pushed over-!"]

[Chloe rolled her eyes before continuing back home with her bag of glass shards. They made light clacking sounds in the bag as she walked. Her hand has mostly stopped bleeding by then.]
