| Does he have one of those bouncy chair kind of things that you can lay him in and put on the floor by your feet? You can bounce him gently and distract yourself with other stuff until he calms down. My mom did that alot I remember. Or she'd leave the chair on the table in the kitchen while she cooked and eventually they'd learn to soothe themselves especially if toys were hanging above them |

| BDS My sister's trying to do laundry, but when I went to go get her, she wasn't there. She did the same thing countless times since she's had the baby. She's a great mom, but I mean, a warning would be great. |

| babies are kind of like animals in my experience. they can feel if we're tense or frustrated which makes them frustrated and tense which makes it harder to calm them down |
