Its about a girl that's sent to a camp that uses mustangs to aid with mental health/troubled kids issues, but somebody is killing the mustangs and she has to figure out who before the one she's assigned to gets hurt

I think he's just leaning into the 70s/80s themes a lot. Probably he watched Stranger Things and went "wow I wish Steve Harrington could do a backflip" and the label was like "bet"
