Min, that they are xD any yeah, I'd see how the Waterford does before the Dutch gag, fingers crossed it'll be just what you need!! I'm, thankfully, lucky that despite her issues, she works perfectly in a snaffle as long as you don't let her do whatever she wants lol 😂

Myth, oh god 🤣😭 the worst I've seen is laying down in the middle of the arena all tacked up, but never with a whole cart 😅

🤣🤣🤣 Mares are always interesting!! Thank you haha, I resisted for quite a while as I was hoping we could sort it just with training but she's so bloody strong I need something in there she can't lean on as easily. Her old owners had her in a Dutch gag which I do have in the tack room but im not a fan of them particularly

Min, xD I love her name though!! Duchess can be the same xD she's absolutely fine with cars, motorcycles, screaming flailing toddlers, but god forbid you put a baby cow in her vicinity or anything that moves 😭 thankfully she doesn't bolt as bad as the other namesake of this stable used to 🤣🤣 and Good luck once that Waterford comes!! Hopefully it'll really help!

Myth, I'm afraid the majority of my experience lies with incredibly forward horses XD last time I rode a truly 'lazy' horse was when I was about 10 xD

Hey Y'all! I need opinions please.
I've never tracked training consistently before and have started doing so with a handful of girls. I am wondering if someone will look at their progress and see what ya think.
Any girls in THIS BARN with an * are the ones I am tracking. Thanks in advance if you look!

I'll explain what you're looking for!
Week 3: Very rare, but sometimes a horse might go up one bar if they're really strong.
Week 4: You ideally want all the bars up, however 5/6 is also really good.
Week 7: half of horses don't have a week 7, but you want as many bars up as possible.
Week 8: Like week 4, you ideally want all bars up. Week 8 usually looks identical to week 4. So if your wk 4 was 122122, your wk 8 will probably be 233233

I looked at several of the ones you indicated, and my advice is to not track weeks 1 through 3. Those are always going to be 111111 unless you have an exceptionally strong trait. Just start with Week 4. Like Sagebrush said, you should see traits go up every 4 weeks or so, especially at the beginning. Some of your mares have traits going up in Wk 7, just 3 weeks after they went up in Wk 4. Those are probably going to be their strongest traits. :)
