(Lol ooh tell me whatttttttttt happppppppppened) Dreams watched West walk away uncomfortably and she felt bad for him. 'thats great, Harmony.' She nodded to Cos and Harmony and trotted after West. 'West? Hey! I'm here for you, okay?' She smiled. 'Whatever it is you can tell me or you don't have to. It's okay. But I need you to know that even though I just met you you can tell me absolutely anything and it would be safe with me.' |

West lifted his head and turned as he heard Dream's voice, his head dipping slightly. "I'm sure you'd understand, but I'm fine. I just need a couple seconds." His smile was wobbly and unconvincing, but all he really needed to do was push those horrible days, even months, out of his mind. |

'West...' She sighed. 'Don't bottle it up. I'm here for you.' She nuzzled his shoulder and looked into his deep eyes, then walked away, not wanting to pressure him into talking. She felt bad for the handsome stallion. Stress and fear didn't look good on him. |

West's pelt twitched as he nervously tried to figure out what to do. "I seem to have the same problem I fear both you and Harmony have. When I was young, right after I got kicked out of my herd for just existing, I was captured by humans. Horrible creatures. Tortured the mind soul and body out of me. That's what most of these stupid scars are from." He gestured to his own scar ridden pelt. "And I have a feeling you went through a similar experience... though I'm too weak to forget about it, and that time still haunts me. I can't just push it out of my mind. It always comes back." He paused with a slight shake of his head. "It's probably nothing compared to what you went through .. and I shouldn't be complaining to you." He finally said quietly, taking a step back. |

Harmony watched West with slight pain in her eyes She shook her head as if shaking off her own memories. Looking towards Cosmo, she asked him "are you willing to share your own background yet? I don't believe I've ever asked you...." |

Luna | 6 yrs old | Mare | Oldenburg x Mustang Cross | M: Herd, Open A young mare would be grazing by herself, mostly minding her own buisness. She's kinda away from the herd but not to far from them while her ears turned towards them, listening in on what's been going on half of the time while flicking her tail at the pesky flies once in a while that try to land on her which in turn causes her muscles to lightly twitch. Luna raised her head up from grazing, looking out into the distance as her bright green eyes took in the landscape, keeping an obvious eye out for any danger before dipping her head back down to resume back to grazing once more, taking a step forward while she eats the grass beneath her. She stood quite tall for a mare that's 16.2hhs but she very well knows that she isn't taller than the other horses but seems pretty content with that. The young mare hasn't really spoken to anyone when she first got into the herd a couple of weeks ago but has been observing the herd for the time being. |

West's deep brown eyes, usually so gentle, showed pain. However, all he could think now is that he needed to suck it up and be fine. He was protecting a herd, he couldn't be weak. These mares might not depend on him, but he would try his hardest to protect them, and that left no room for failure. |

Dreams spun around. 'West! don't be sorry! I understand, yes, but we are completely different and had different experiences. That's horrible, West, I'm so sorry.' She rubbed up against him, trying to comfort him in some way. 'it's ok. See? It feels good to get it out.' She sighed. 'I would rather not relive my time with the humans but for you, I will. My mum died in my birth. I was the one punished for that. I was ridden at the age of just 2 and was forced to haul wood and other supplies all around the farm I lived on. If I slowed my steps just once, I was whipped and cursed at. They would burn me if I acted out. They bred me to Windsong, then killed him and my foal.' Her eyes filled with tears. 'Yes, our experiences were different, but I understand everything you went through. It's okay. You don't have to be sorry, alright?' |
