My 20 gallon is an Aqueon, my 40 is a Marineland (I think). I love them both. And if you buy them new, stores will have a return policy on them in case a seam leaks or theres a crack you can't see.

The only time I recommend buying second-hand is if you're purchasing a large tank and are willing to learn how to reseal it. Otherwise, it's cheaper (and safer) to buy from a store!

Checkout used tanks often people will be nearly giving them away, just make sure to fill it up outside first for a few days to make sure it’s not leaking. Never take a tank with cracks even if they’re small and are current ply holding water

Or, you can typically do it cheaper by piecing it together yourself. Tank, light, cover(optional), heater, filter, air pump, airline hoses, bubble wand, substrate, and then obviously decorations (nothing plastic) and the fish.

I reccomend tetras as well, you want a lot 10-20 as theyre schooling fish and they have a high casualty rate especially when you first get them

Bird, I loved my tetras, I believe I had the 2 for 4/5 years? But do be weary when you get them, I originally had 4 but unfortunately we lost 2 very shortly after due to the 'professionals' we talked with I'll informing us on the best amount for our tank!

I have 90 capture maps, a mixture of sherpa, adventure, etc-going to either capture in the forest or beach

Yes! I have been saving and questing since the last capture day.
Are you excited? Y E S !!

What are your Plans?
Planning to really add some new genetics and colour to my X herd. Increase my SD show team and Quest Studs.

What Breeds are you catching?
X mainly on this Account and a sprinkle of TB.
Started a side stable recently for KNN, so I might dip my toe in them, or at least get some show geldings :)

How many maps/items do you have?
300+ Maps & 500+ other capture items + 6m.
I have been GRINDING quests and upgrade sales to fund this day.

What do you hope to catch?
Really hoping to catch some nice patterned, WWE+ Combo Mares mainly.
Another nice Stud would be good and some strong EEE's of various colours.

Somewhat, yes! Not going to capture a ton though since I have big breeding plans the next few ROs after this one.

Always!

What are your Plans?
Complete some capture quests and hopefully get some decently rated 2 year olds, or more geldings for my army.

What Breeds are you catching?
Wubs! On the off chance I get any W's in there, I could use some new blood for that breed.

How many maps/items do you have?
Not a ton, 4 Sherpa maps and 4 Adventurer's Maps (it says 4 but 2 in parenthesis, whatever that means?) Plus a quest that will give me a Pirate Map. 6 (4) Capture Passes.

What do you hope to catch?
A WWE+ Combo wub girl but I'm not getting my hopes up lol

Mostly! I do need to make some room, but that should be okay.

Oh my gosh yes!!! I love capture day, and this time around I have even more items than the last one! Capturing is so exciting :)
What are your plans?
I'm planning to use my entire map stash in the jungle, and hopefully get some strong girls!
What breeds are you catching?
Probably a mix of WB and TB, not sure how much of each yet. Last time I did a roughly 50/50 split between the two.
How many maps/items do you have?
351 maps right now in total, and hope to get more before it starts. I'm also sitting on a capture quest that will give 10 more :)
What do you hope to catch?
I'm crossing my fingers for some WWE+ and/or WEE combo mares! EEEs would be nice too, as well as PPP+ brave mares.
