Today we'd like to hear about your experiences with Rusty Bits (and shards) in Explore.

I don't know why, but I'm getting rusty bit shard 2 way more often than the other shards. I consistently have like 10 more of shard 2 than either of the other shards at any one time. So the randomness is uneven. I've noticed a whole lot of shard 2 in either the falls or for sale/ trade, and not many of the other shards, so I believe it's not just a problem for me.

The number I found when I tried was super uneven. Almost always 2.

I dont use rusty bits i sell them, because i dont use them it seems thats all i can sell in my shop but what ever ill just sell them.

I've only gotten two rusty bit shards this past month. But, it might just be me

I like the frequency of finding them, but I too tend to get way too many shard 2s xD

The frequency is good, but the distribution is uneven. Last month, too many shard #2, this month, hardly any shard #2. I think at one point I got up to almost 20 shard of a singular type that I couldn't craft with because I had none of the others, even with buying from members shops. Otherwise - great amount in general in explore! I did find it to almost increase when the event ended though, not sure if that was just my perception though.

Much like everyone is saying, it's the same for me. Only difference is instead of being 2,I just can't get any shared 3s. They are my limiter BY FAR. I have over 30 of the other two and probably at this moment I only have less than 10 3s.

Edit: just checked and I was spot on. 33 1s, 37 2s, and 4 3s.

I've been thinking about it for a little while -

What about making a check box or something that would allow you to customize your Exploring Experience - such as, I want to Explore for Decor, I want to Explore for Rusty Bit Shards, I want to Explore for Random.
Maybe even an option to navigate around EBs randoms (as it takes away from potentially find decor/shards).
I would like this in the Spring at least - because I've been chasing Baby Animals for over a real life year, and come up empty handed every spring.
