Not long later, Finn reappeared, coming back into their bedroom with the breakfast in bed tray loaded with food for her. He smiled, placing it down for her. "Here you are, sunshine,"

Sera’s face lit up as he returned, the delicious smell wafting in with him. Her eyes softened instantly at the sight of him—tray in hand, warm smile on his face, every bit the doting husband. She sat up straighter, pulling the blankets around herself as he set the tray down. “It smells amazing,” she murmured, touched by the gesture. Her fingers brushed his as she reached for the fork, pausing only to glance up at him with quiet adoration. “Thank you, my love,” she whispered. “You always know how to take care of me…” A small smile tugged at her lips. “You’re going to spoil both me and this baby, aren’t you?”

Finn grinned. "Of course, why wouldn't I," he chuckled.

Sera laughed softly, her fingers curling around the fork as she took a bite. “Mm, that’s dangerously good,” she mumbled through the mouthful, eyes fluttering shut for a moment in delight. She opened them again and looked at him, smile laced with both amusement and warmth. “You keep this up and I’ll never lift a finger again,” she teased gently, bumping her shoulder against his. Then her gaze softened even more. “I don’t need to be spoiled, you know… Just having you here, like this, is more than enough.” She paused, resting a hand lightly over her stomach. “But… I love that you want to.”

"Well, now you're pregnant, so prepare to get spoiled rotten," he grinned at her, pecking her cheek. He really just wanted to take care of her, especially when she was pregnant.

Sera flushed, a soft giggle escaping her as he kissed her cheek. “Spoiled rotten, huh?” she teased gently, glancing at him with a playful smirk. “I could get used to that.” She leaned her head against his shoulder, her hand gently covering his on her stomach. “It still feels surreal,” she whispered after a moment, her voice softening with emotion. “Knowing there’s a little life growing inside me… that it’s ours.” She looked up at him, her expression warm and a little misty-eyed. “Thank you for making me feel so safe… so loved.” Her fingers curled lightly around his. “You already take such good care of me. I can’t wait to watch you with our baby.”

Finn smiled and pecked her cheek. "Always and forever, baby... me too. I can't wait to meet them,"

Sera’s heart fluttered at his words, and she leaned in to rest her forehead against his. “They’re going to be so loved,” she whispered, her voice thick with emotion. “By both of us. Every day, every minute.” She smiled softly, her thumb brushing gently over the back of his hand. “They’re going to have the best dad in the whole world.” Her gaze flicked between his eyes, full of warmth and certainty. “And I’m going to make sure they know just how lucky they are. Just like I do.”

Finn smiled and nodded. "They're gonna have the best mom in the whole world,"

Sera’s eyes welled up with soft tears, but they didn’t fall—just shimmered at the corners as she smiled. “You really think so?” she whispered, her voice a little shaky, hand gently resting over her belly. She leaned into him, nuzzling her face into the crook of his neck. “I want to be. For them. For you. I want to be everything you both need.” She pulled back just enough to look at him again, eyes filled with that quiet, burning kind of love. “And they’re going to grow up safe, and warm, and surrounded by love... because we’re going to build that for them. Together.”
