Finn nodded, walking with her to the car.

When they reached the car, Sera carefully unbuckled Violet and placed her into the car seat. She buckled her in and placed a kiss on her head. "Do you mind if I sit in the back with Violet? That way I can keep an eye on her in case she needs anything?" She asks Finn.

Finn nodded. "Of course, yeah, of course," he agreed immediately. If she hadnt sat back there with her he would've.

Sera nods, sliding into the car from the other side and buckling in next to Violet. Violet was wide eyed, looking all around. Sera smiles, looking back over to Finn. "It feels so sureal, we have our daughter finally here with us"

Finn got into the drivers seat, pulling out of the parking lot, driving incredibly slowly and carefully. He smiled, glancing in the rearview to watch them. He nodded. "I know..."
Sera watched Violet with a protectiveness that she only felt few times before, but this type of protectiveness was different from other times, such as when she defended Finn those countless times. This was the protectiveness of a mother over her child. Sera watched Violet smile so brightly and vowed to only allow joy in her world. She'd shield her from the harshness of the world.

Finn grinned, focusing on driving, doing so extra carefully and slowly.

Sera watched as Violet kept pointing outside and laughing. "I don't know what's so amusing but I think she likes watching the trees go by"

Finn smiled, watching every now and then through the rearview mirror. She was so adorable. Soon enough, Finn pulled into their driveway and got out with Sera.

Sera moves to the other side of the car, opening the door and unbuckling Violet. "Let's show her her room" she says, holding Violet close to her chest as they entered their home.
